The airline said the Panama-bound plane was forced to return to Toronto Friday morning about 45 minutes into the flight after a passenger, identified by authorities as Ali Shahi, made a "direct threat against the aircraft."
Witnesses told CNN affiliate CTV that Shahi said he wanted to bomb Canada.

The terrorist was subdued over West Virginia. The situation was under control of a competent flight crew. These idiots had the time it takes to fly from West Virginia back to Canada to get their act together. Instead, they opted for fascist theater, doubtless to prove they have same amount of testosterone as their big brother pigs south of the border.

Because a SWAT team is a dynamic entry team and represents significant danger to everyone on the plane who is NOT making threats.
Everyone on the plane is already contained so they sure aren’t going to bomb Canada from there.

They have used the banner of terrorism to create a whole agency dedicated to egregiously arming itself to the point of a private standing civilian army for Obama. Billions of rounds of hollow point ammunition, thousands and thousands of “personal defense weapons” (also known as M-4s). The BLM, USPS, Agriculture Department, IRS and so, so many other agencies all have the SWAT team equivalent. For what?
We have nearly every agency, city and town in this country now with a SWAT team. Armored vehicles, mobile command centers, automatic weapons, body armor - all the gear you’d need to storm Fallujah. For what? To raid some guy’s house in the middle of the night, shoot his dog, shoot him, his kids (drop a flash bang in the crib like here in Georgia) and then say “we followed procedure” when it turns out they had the wrong house?
I was answering a question that someone else had about what they said. You can take it how you will - I don’t care. But please don’t give me that 9/11 stuff. We’ve gone way, way beyond that now. It’s the citizens they’re after now.
The only change in behavior we need to prevent another 9/11 is to not sit back and trust our govt. Thats already happening, other passengers will take care of business.
Whats also happening is our govt is monitoring Americans far more than they are monitoring our enemies. Because we represent a threat to THEIR personal power.
How any terrorists has the TSA actually caught?
They HAD to storm the plane, otherwise the suspect might have had time to flush himself down the toilet.
It seems none of you are able to tell the difference between legitimate and illegitimate actions...
