U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander is planning a 35-stop bus tour of Tennessee ahead of the Aug. 7 primary, his campaign announced this morning. ( You know, cuz he has this election locked up right?)
Alexander said in a press release that the tour is inspired by his political mentor, former Senate Majority Leader Howard Baker, who toured the state by train and bus during his re-election campaign. (I think while I am reading this I will look for inspiration from Steve Martin's Planes, Trains, & Automobiles which will be waaaay more inspiring than Lamar's bus tour)
"I learned from Howard Baker that one of the best ways to finish a campaign is a bus tour across the state," Alexander said. (Wow, you are amazing Lamar, you are for increasing taxes through the National Internet Sales Tax, you are for Amnesty which will NOT help our unemployment rate, You voted 62% of the time with Obama but by all means go ahead thinking that "one of the best ways to finish a campaign is a bus tour across the state," YOU ARE CLUELESS) "I work hard every day to stay connected to Tennesseans, ( by communicating through my lyin ads and saying the word "conservative" every chance I get ) and this bus tour is one more way to keep providing Washington with a steady supply of that Tennessee common sense we need so much more of in Congress." ( OK that's government speak for keeping the gravy train running...see Thad Cochran MS)
The Alexander campaign said it plans to visit all regions of the state but did not announce locations or times of stops in Middle Tennessee. (Hahahaha, of course you didn't, wouldn't want those pesky voters of the Republican base to come out and spoil it for you now would we?)
Alexander faces six other candidates in the Republican primary, including state Rep. Joe Carr and Memphis physician George Flinn.
To all of you out there fighting the good fight and trying to get good people elected...Lamar may win, Lamar may lose but if he wins, do not despair. This is just the beginning of a very long and enduring fight, like the rest of our lives long and the success of our country does not rest on one race. It rests on the backs of the people and how involved they get in the governing process. Lamar does not represent the future of this country, win or lose.
Pick your battles wisely, I have mine and fight on. The future of our posterity depends on us, not Lamar or even Joe Carr.
Having said that, I pray that God will help Joe Carr overcome the margin of error, the margin of fraud, and the margin of the 3rd wheel George-I-want-to-win-a-national-political-seat-so-bad-that-I-will-be-a-spoiler-for-Joe-Carr-Flinn.

The task facing Joe Carr is insurmountable for any candidate, particularly one running against a TN icon. People in TN know nothing but Lamar!
Lamar who?
Lamar!’s loyal supporters don’t come out to such stops; they are pre-committed.
NO, already voted CARR. lamar has screwed the Military, all of us with his 0’care cloture vote, and he votes like thad chochran. 62% demoRAT. Why would I want a double oath breaker re-elected. He promised 2 terms and OUT! Can’t even keep his oath to that much less the US Constitution or TN Constitution.
That's HEADLEY
LOL
