The purpose of this training derives from the need for cooperation between Central American countries to put an end to the wave of illegal immigration.
Vice ministers and consular officials from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador gathered in McAllen today, a result of the multiple visits and exchanges in the last few months between Central American officials with the united states for the purpose of addressing the influx of undocumented immigrants from such countries.
The meeting came about after a summit in Central America last week where plain international, an organization that works to protect childrens rights, seeked to teach officials from each of these nations at once about immigration procedures.

Pardon me for appearing thick as a brick, BUT, shouldn’t there be a Mexican government representative participating. Whether at their Southern or Northern border, Mexico is the gateway country for controlling this mess. Perhaps they’re waiting to cross Mojado style. Mexico was also notably absent at Friday’s WH meeting.
They aren't waiting to cross Majado style, they are attempting it 24/7.
We are sitting here 100 yards from the river and Border Patrol boats are going up and down the river constantly.
They are doing an excellent job, of course the problem is in DC.
This catch and release (redistribute across the country) has got to stop!
