My apology Bert; only have the same answer that I addressed back to laplata at #60
‘politicians will ALWAYS be afraid to do what this country needs...
They will either just have to do what they need to do to get their jobs done despite obstacles or go down in history as the ones who gave it up.
Our military does not go around saying or acting this way.
If they did, imagine what it would be.
Fear is THEIR problem. They don’t want to do their jobs for fear, they can let someone else in and stop pretending.
And they can STOP pledging allegiance to the flag, and taking an oath of office, to protect the Constitution as long as they’re too afraid of the media, who do neither, and they can quit taking money and power from lobbyists and brokers and work for their constituents, do their homework and get to the details of the job.
Fear. No excuse.
Richard Nixon was a prince of a man compared to the traitor in the White House
After the election catastrophe, his life will not be worth a plug nickel.
The disgruntled Democrats will rid the world of Obama forever
And the blame would be put on our side.
You may be right. Impeachment would no doubt galvanize the left and give them a rallying cry. Whatever we do, he’s not leaving. I think he’s pushing for riots in the streets and an excuse for a military/police crackdown. Isn’t that the endgame in the Cloward-Piven strategy?
Richard Nixon was a Republican.
Stockman needs to shut up and get to work.
“They are very very complicit in Obamas dealings...”
Agreed.
Congress COVERS for Obama to cover their OWN asses.
Note that impeaching somobody out of office is basically a two-step process under the Constitution. More specifically, it’s up to the Senate to kick somebody impeached by the House of Representatives out of office.
But the problem is that Reid, who also needs to be impeached imo, is not going to kick Obama out of office. In fact, patriots and former Obama supporters need to make sure that 2/3 of post-election 2014 Senate members are willing to kick Obama out of office if the House impeaches him.
He’s pushing to get a complete mixup in our populace, and then he’llmove on to something else.
He’s simply doing what he said he was going to do, fundamentally transform the nation.
So, the Republican HOR, including Stockman, need to read up on that, put the martinis down and get to work.
They could review the Constitution they swore to uphold and they can figure out what they’re dealing with and they could stop funding him.
They are complicit
There is always a third option.
Revolution.
And a fourth option.
Emigration.
That’s all this is.
He needs to go do his homework and get back to us when he’s ready to do his job. Otherwise he’s begging to be recalled.
Bre’r rabbit redeux.
Yes, exactly. He is raising money off wagging around even the very mention of impeachment and already has doubled the DNC coffers over the RNC by 2 to 1.
The RNC is toast among the seriously conservative, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be funding OUR own conservative candidates, by a long shot!
Remember Mississippi. That memory is NOT going away any time soon, here anyway.
Replace those looses and loose with loses and lose. Sorry about that.
“...already has doubled the DNC coffers over the RNC by 2 to 1.”
To hang on to the Senate?
Hmm. Ok. If not, where’s that money going? Not to the HOR.
Not sure. Not sure which, the GOPe or Bam.
They’re all in this.
A-D-O-L-P-H H-I-T-L-E-R 1930’s Germany
So,...speaking of impeachment before the mid terms is purely academic, and pushing for it now may very well backfire. We need a mid term election groundswell, especially in the Senate. Voters need to be reminded of the importance of the mid terms in terms of rules for impeachment.
I figure it that way, too— to hang on to the Senate and pay off some old favors.
We will know he wants to be impeached when he snuffs out some senate Democrats, enough to guarantee a senate with the numbers, willing to finish an House impeachment step with the actual Senate removal step.
That is not happening yet.
They ARE complicit in their passivity.
