George Zimmerman has filed a notice to appeal the dismissal of his defamation lawsuit against NBC Universal and three reporters.

I don’t hold out much hope, but I hope Zimmerman wins on appeal. The hack job on that 911 call completely changed the context and substance of what was being said. It made Zimmerman look like a racist, and was almost surely done purposely to put that very image in the mind of viewers.
If he has to go before the same judge a third time, there is no hope.
Honestly, I think it was his name, “Zimmerman” that sparked the media frenzy. Business associate from Chicago (raging lib) we talked to that Monday (less than 24 hours after the incident) seemed to think that there was a marauding racist uber-Aryan with a blond crew cut.
I don't know much about the law. I did stay in a Holiday Inn once.
I don't think the same judge looks at the appeal.
However what the LIBS have done to our constitution I wouldn't be surprised.
