Sarah Palin former governor of Alaska, erstwhile candidate for VP of the U.S. and polarizing public figure has unveiled a new subscription-based Internet TV network that promises direct access to her and her supporters.
The Sarah Palin Channel, which costs $9.95 per month or $99.95 for a one-year subscription, will feature her commentary on important issues facing the nation, as well as behind-the-scenes looks into her personal life as mother, grandmother, wife and neighbor. Palin serves as executive editor, overseeing all content posted to the channel.
I want to talk directly to you on our channel, on my terms and no need to please the powers that be, Palin, who is also a Fox News contributor, said in a video announcing the channel. Together, well go beyond the sound bites and cut through the medias politically correct filter.
Palin is producing the channel in partnership with Tapp, the online-video venture formed by Jeff Gaspin, former chairman of NBCUniversal Television, and Jon Klein, former president of CNN U.S.
The conservative pols online network is modeled on TheBlaze, the online-video network and website that ex-Fox News host Glenn Beck launched in 2011. TheBlaze TV is now also carried on Dish Network and regional cable systems.
Subscribers to the Sarah Palin Channel will have the ability to post their own videos to the website, submit questions to her, and participate in online video chats with her and other subscribers. Active U.S. military members can subscribe free of charge, according to Tapp. The site includes a national debt ticker, and a countdown clock showing the number of days left in President Obamas second term.
Gaspin, Klein and co-founder Michael Greer, former CTO of The Onion, announced Tapp in March 2014. The companys first channel is Steve Arterburns New Life TV, hosted by the relationship counselor and radio host. According to TAPP, the Arterburn channel became profitable less than four months after launching.
Tapp investors include Discovery Communications and individuals including investment bankers Ken Moelis and Peter Ezersky. They were recently joined by Luminari Capital, a venture fund founded by Daniel Leff focused on digital video investments.
Other TV personalities that have jumped to the Internet include ex-CNN host Larry King, who now has an online talk show produced with Ora.tv, and Katie Couric, who joined Yahoo as global news anchor. Paula Deen, who lost her show on Food Network after racial comments that she made came to light, is planning to launch her own cooking channel online this fall.
She should get together with Beck. get some good conservative comentators—we need a Tea Party Cable Station! Sarah, you are doing God’s work!
She will make MAAAANY millions.
If cry-baby soccer-ball distributor can manage it then BEHOLD what Grizzly Mama will do.
The whole country shall hear her ROAR !
The Leftists are going to anything and everything to get her off the air.
How come they never call Zero a "polarizing figure?"
I hope their heads literally explode, it would probably save the country

That is AWESOME I might have to check this out would be worth the money
maybe it should have been
They’ll try but they won’t succeed.
It will be interesting who her sponsors will be.
The people paying $10 a month/$100 a year ARE the sponsors.
I would have liked that too!
1. Rush’s kiddy books
2. Dinesh’s movies
3. Sarah’s channel
ALL this stuff is aimed at the same idea —with the Liberal Media we won’t have nearly the same impact as if we target CULTURE.
With the net, channels to do so are more accessible than ever.
I expect much more of this will come to fruition —it’s still very early.
I’m very excited and more hopeful than ever.
The cost is minimal compared to watching the lamestream drive America into the ground with the lamestream’s half truths, lack of the truth and outright lies. 95% to 98% of the lamestream voted for obama. 95% to 98% of the lamestream support obama’s lies. I’ll gladly join Sarah in her quest for the truth which will including signing up for her online channel.
Only conservatives can be polarizing.
Conservatives upset the Marxist Utopian vibe.\
Pray America wakes up
Very cool. I checked it out. Might be interesting. Not sure I want to pay for it...being the cheapskate that I am. :)
Remember when Heart asked for Palin to stop using Barracuda at rallies? Perry is another idiot artiste lefty and would likely do the same. I think she came out as a Hillary supporter the other day.
if you want to sign up.
I just had a vision of the unnamed airport. It shows CNN on one side of the terminal with no one watching, as usual but has Sarah Palin on the other side of the terminal. Guess which side would get the viewers, sales at their concessions, and so forth.
and controversial, mean-spirited, partisan, divisive, etc.
I hope this goes well, but I have to say; I thought her reality show from Alaska was really bad.
Her new reality show is worse.
Political figures IMO need to be in the pop culture but not of it—and certainly not of the least common denominator.
I’d still like her to go serious again and run for president from that posture.
Sarah has figured out that the established old RINOS and the Dems ,combined with the lieberal media do have the power to prevent her succeeding in political office but they can’t stop her from making millions $$$ and speaking her views.
beck is batshit crazy, she should not ever get together with him.
OK No Beck—BUT we do need a Tea Party TV Channel. A show with some good conservative comentators. Maybe Mark Levin?
The whole country shall hear her ROAR !
Once they pony up the 100 bucks a year it will cost them to hear her roar.
All the more power to you, Sarah. Creating and exploiting markets is what capitalism is all about. She is living and highlighting the American Dream.
As for the effectiveness of a getting a conservative message out, well, I just don’t see this happening, as I find it challenging to the extreme that anyone not already agreeing with her message will pony up the dollars - except for perhaps John Stewart.
She’ll be preaching to the choir.
Isn't that what we do around here most of the time?
I signed up for the monthly plan. I’ve signed up for plenty of things that were/are more ridiculous than anything she might dream up. But then, I’ve was a Palin supporter before she was nominated to run with McPain-in-the-butt. Her voice tends to get on my nerves a bit but what she says doesn’t. If I ever get the chance to vote for President again it’ll be for her.
Beck is doing a lot to diffuse the Dem campaign topic that we hate children.
Beck has jumped the shark as of late and has become a cross between Colonel Sanders, Kenny Rogers and Robert Tilton.
We joined today. Hope to see you all there.
