Vowing to once again go around the mainstream media's filter like she did with her pioneering use Twitter and Facebook after the 2008 presidential election, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin launched her own member-supported digital TV channel on Sunday evening. ....
In a "Sarah Says" video that is featured on the site, Palin says the tragic downing of the Malaysian Airlines plane has "shifted the balance of world opinion against Vladimir Putin" since "there is a lot of evidence pointing to pro-Russian separatists" as being responsible for the "thoughtless massacre." She said that Putin, though, still holds "oil and gas prices over the heads of those" who are dependent on Russia's resources even as he is trying to distance himself from the separatists. Palin noted that Putin uses his energy resources essentially "as a weapon" against Europeans who are afraid to cross him. Palin said American needed to curb Russian power by developing its own resources and diluting Russia's. She said America could be a "natural gas exporter" if the government got serious about development.
Palin also said the Ukraine situation did not have to "escalate" because "a good leader steers world events" instead of merely going with the wind and responding to one crisis after another. She President Barack Obama is merely "reacting" to world events, which is dangerous in a world with bullies and tyrants intent on doing harm.
"America, you deserve better," Palin says of Obama.
During the 2008 presidential election, Palin was mocked for warning that Putin would invade Ukraine if Obama were elected.

Sarah knew back then that Putin wanted Ukraine and Obama would shrug it off.
Yet today some think Obama is opposing Putin.
Yes, apparently they take the left-wing media at face-value when they say that the strong, competent Obama is confronting Putin and determined to defeat him. When in fact Obama could not care less and probably couldn’t even find Russia on a map of the world.

Because I live there, the aquarium is excellent and it would please me to see it win best in the U.S. :)
I’m all for capitalism and all, but if she really is just trying to get her message out, it wouldn’t be behind a pay wall.
It looks like a compilation of her Facebook posts from the last year or so. I don’t get it. I really am stumped.
Her critics will have a field day.
But if it wins with votes from people who haven’t been there, that’s a hollow and fraudulent victory.

For her to offer parenting advice is also an easy set up for her critics.
1. If not a pay wall, then where would you prefer the funding come from?
2. Her critics will spew their hate, no matter what she does. They might not think it’s a field day, if her channel becomes financially sustainable. Apparently, there’s still time to make money shorting the MSM.

She could sell ads like everyone else. Calling it a "channel" and requiring a "subscription" is cheezy in my opinion. It isn't a "channel", it's a website behind a pay wall.
The cheezyness just takes away from her credibility, and her message is too valuable to be squandered like that. Just my opinion -- she can do whatever she wants. But I don't know what she is thinking.

Good grief. I was glad to see the link - regardless of whether it had anything to do with this thread or not. He maybe should have posted it in some other manner but he didn’t.
We are asked to participate in polls all the time on issues affecting states we don’t even live in and many of us do. I have been to all of the places listed on the poll except for one and IMO the one in Texas is the best. Too bad you’ve never been to ours. Personally, if you are not going to vote for Texas then I hope you don’t vote for any of the others.
It's a contribution wall. Get with the program. The Left funds its operations with various and sundry schemes to funnel money to their soldiers, usually involving YOUR tax dollars.
Contribute to YOUR side for a change. Do you donate to Free Republic during the quarterly fundraisers?
It's the same thing. Not only that, the Palace Guard media, Emperor Obama's fig leaf, will have to pony up to monitor her in real time. What's not to like? LOL! :)
