Imagine you’re about to sit down for supper when suddenly 760 folks show up on your front porch wanting fried catfish and hushpuppies. You’d be fit to be tied as they say in Tennessee.
And Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam is fit to be tied.
The Obama administration recently released 760 illegal immigrant children to sponsors in the Volunteer State without any warning, the governor charged.
There was not so much as a text message or tweet.
“It is unacceptable that we became aware via a posting on the HHS website that 760 unaccompanied children have been released by the Office of Refugee Resettlement to sponsors in Tennessee without my administration’s knowledge,” the governor wrote in a strongly-worded letter to President Obama.
Haslam, a Republican, said he still has not been contacted by the Obama administration – and has no idea where the illegals were resettled.
“I still have not been contacted and have no information about these individuals or their sponsors other than what was posted on the HHS website,” he wrote.

Gov. Haley: Immigration situation ‘just wrong’
COLUMBIA, S.C. — Gov. Nikki Haley said it’s wrong for the federal government to expect states to accept unattended children who are illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border while providing no information on them.
“We do care about these children. We do want them to be safe. But we also have our own children to take care of,” she said Thursday evening during a panel discussion of Republican governors at the Aspen Institute in Colorado.
“We’ve got our foster children in every one of our states and we are trying to balance a budget,” she said. “And because they won’t do the one basic thing of securing our border, we are now taking on additional children. It’s just wrong. It’s wrong. And when we ask who these children are or where they are, Secretary Johnson said we can’t tell you because of privacy issues.”
But a South Carolina advocate for the poor said it’s never wrong to protect children who are fleeing danger.
Haley, whose parents emigrated from India, said America is great because of legal immigrants like them.
“Secure our border and restore the rule of law, and in so doing, prevent untold thousands of additional children from enduring what is undoubtedly a horrifying ordeal,” she wrote in a July 17 letter to U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.

Well, until I read this I had some hope for Crossville. :(
I think that’s the plan. But I keep asking why Obama is doing this. I know a lot of people say because they will vote democrat but there has to be another reason. He is trying to keep out certain groups. What is his end game?
Not sure but I see people revolting over it. I wonder when it’ll be a national thing.
