If he’s so willing to go to Lampedusa, and to the U.S.-Mexico border to show his solidarity with the immigrant, why doesn’t he go to Syria and Iraq to show his solidarity with them?! He should just go and share their fate. How would the government of Syria or Iraq really stop him? Sure, he might be martyred by the Caliphate, but that kind of goes with his job. Just ask St. Peter.
