I love reading what Sarah Palin has to say. She’s intelligent and can cut through the BS but I *hated* that video on her webtv page. Her voice and style was irritating which is strange cause I’ve watched her give speeches and talk shows before and never noticed it.
The delivery was over animated vocally. Almost like a sine wave in both pitch and tone. Like somebody talks to a dog or a small child.
She shouldn’t have been so confidant on asserting that there was absolutely no reason and Israel did nothing to provoke the attack. I would say she’s right 99.98% but there is that annoying .02% pretext for firing rockets — the teenager kidnapped and murdered by Israeli’s militia of sorts as revenge for the kidnap and murder of the 3 boys earlier.
Good on ya, Sarah.
The state of Israel did not murder that young man...
She is smart, and clever too. She is a full blooded Patriot who backs down from no one. But, I have always felt that the one thing that would prevent her from reaching the pinnacle in politics is her voice. Some people are just hard to listen to and unfortunately, for me, she is one of them. I think she could be radically successful and influential as an editorial writer.
That was a radical group of youths who killed the young man and Israel took action against them unlike Hamas who purposely target civilians. Hamas has been rocketing Israel all along just because they are alive.
Everybody understands that but it’s irrelevant to Hamas. It just gave them a pretext to start lobbing rockets.
It’s her voice that makes her ideas stick in your mind.
They were firing rockets before that. No pretext required.
In some cases her voice is probably an asset. But not in luring voters, IMO.
