After shaky start, Ukraine turns eastern offensive around
AFP ^ | Oleksandr Savochenko

When Ukraine's military offensive to oust pro-Russian rebels from the restive east began in mid-April with humiliated soldiers meekly surrendering their armoured vehicles it looked doomed to failure.

But after more than three months of brutal fighting that has claimed some 1,100 lives, a sudden advance by battle-hardened government forces in recent weeks has seen them snatch back a string of key towns and left the once confident insurgents scrambling.

Putin certainly didn’t expect to be beaten by the Ukrainian army. He can be thankful that the old USSR never faced the US in a war.

"Russian President Vladimir Putin might be looking for a way out in the wake of tougher international sanctions and the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17."

With international ire on MH17 giving Ukrainian forces a "carte blanche" to deal with the separatists...

People ask who would benefit from this airliner shoot-down. Not the Russians. Ironically after the shoot-down planes were diverted from the conflict area to over Russian territory.

This was one of the expected outcomes.

If the Ukraine politicians maintained the will to fight, the military would eventually recover and start defeating the rebels.

Other good news from the article is in the captions of the pictures. Russian separatist sending their families to Russia. Not a good morale move for them.

I believe the plane was not shot down on purpose. Putin’s cretins bragged about shooting down a military aircraft. The didn’t brag about shooting a civilian one.

They all should go to Russia; they seem to love Putinism. Let them live under it instead of forcing others into it.

Putin’s cretins bragged about shooting down a military aircraft.

According to some unverified tapes put out by the Ukrainian government. They wouldn't lie would they.

“I believe the plane was not shot down on purpose.”

So no rocket was launched, right? After all if you don’t want to shoot down a plane you don’t fire rockets at it, right? The truth of the matter is, and maybe this is what you were trying to say, the plane was most deliberately targeted and fired upon and downed - just as the rebels wanted. It just turned out to be the wrong kind of plane. It was deliberately shot down (hence, they DELIBERATELY fired a rocket at it), but it turned out to be the wrong kind of plane than what they anticipated.

A technical and semantic point is that the rebels fired a missile. Rockets are not guided. Missiles are guided. You're exactly right that I meant that their intent was to shoot down a military aircraft. They hit a civilian plane instead. They then bragged about it. Then, they denied they shot it. Then, they claimed someone else shot it. Had they known they were going to hit a civilian plane I'm sure they'd not have bragged about it. I'm also sure that they would have not wanted the political wrath that their unprofessional actions have brought to their benighted cause of Putinism (a lowbrow form of Russian chauvinism).

One of the points that Putinistas try to make is that only the Ukrainians benefit from this shoot down. Of course, if that were true, why won’t Putin’s proxies cooperate in exposing the crash site to investigators so the truth can be proven? And then you run up against the white trash Putinista actions of these vicious thugs with their looting of the crash site. You get one of them preening on the web with the makeup from a victim. You get the ghoulish treatment of the airplane victims that expose the soulless nature of the Putin proxies.

We live in a world where nothing is what it seems. What is Obama’s relationship with Putin? They pretend to be at odds over the Ukraine, Obama is definitely with Soros, who is supposedly against Russia. Putin is a gangster, if he wanted, he could take Soros out. Unless there is truth to Soros being an Rothschild lackey.

Putin treats Obama with indifference. Russia is also with duplicitous Iran, so is Qatar. Obama’s “sanctions” left off some major names in the Russian mafia, which implies posturing by Obama. Known Russian gangsters can still come and go freely into the US. We have Hezbollah, Al Qaeda and the Russian mafia all over this hemisphere. Obama is bringing the terrorists in the front door. Are they all in collusion?

“Mexican cartel violence is at an all-time high along the increasingly porous southern border yet the Obama Administration has shut down a critical intelligence agency dedicated to identifying, tracking and severing the nexus between drug trafficking and terrorism.”

The last report from the NDIC in 2012 had dire warnings about growing problems on the border that were “tantamount to living in a war zone”.

Obama closed NDIC in 2012, and said Holder’s DEA was going to be taking over the NDIC work. The DEA has no reports since 2012.

“There has indeed been a “marked resurgence” of Iranian state sponsorship of terrorism over the past 18 months. “Criminal plans” by Iran could be under way in Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago, the report said.

2002 Fentanyl used as weapon by Terrorists in Russia
http://www.haaretz.com/news/russia-says-theater-siege-gas-based-on-fentanyl-1.29898

Also interesting is that Fentanyl is linked as an assassination weapon to Israel’s Mossad. The Pharmaceutical company that produces Fentanyl was sued September 2008. Cephalon paid $425 million to the federal government to settle four whistleblower lawsuits and a criminal charge alleging Cephalon had marketed Actiq, Gabitril and Provigil for “off-label” (unapproved) uses. Fentanyl is approximately 100 times more potent than morphine, and can not be traced in the body after 6 hours.

In 2011 an Israeli company, Teva purchased Cephalon the makers of pharmaceutical Fentanyl. So “Fentanyl” is produced in Israel.

Soros Fund Management is one of Teva’s top Institutional Holders.

1997 Israel’s Mossad was accused of using Fentanyl in assassinations.”The damage to Israel’s vaunted spy service has been particularly acute. Not only was Israel forced to disclose information about what it said was a new assassination technique — believed to be based on a synthetic opiate called Fentanyl — but more importantly, for several years the Mossad spy agency had been quietly allowed to keep an office in Amman, and now Jordan has thrown it out.”

That would require a level of cognitive ability not available to those who simply repeat what they read or hear on RT.

Even worse on moral is hearing of an advanced weapons crew and one of their leaders being disappeared.

When moral folds soldiers eventually break and flee. Russia has been bumbling this internationally and has been outed for direct artillery fires into Ukraine. They’ve lost their will to pursue this. The rebels may now realize this.
