The North Atlantic Alliance has announced an increase in the number of Russian troops and weapons along the border with Ukraine, it said the Commander of NATO forces in Europe, General United States Philip Breedlove, informs Reuters.
According to his data, is now on the border with Ukraine is more than 12 thousand troops from Russia.
"We're seeing the movement of people and technology from the central military district in Russia in the region of Rostov-on-Don, where are they going to pass training and moving towards the border," said the General.
Previously this information was also presented at the Pentagon.
Pentagon spokesman Rear Admiral John Kirby confirmed that Russia continues to increase its presence on the border with Ukraine, where there are already about 10 thousand soldiers of the Russian army ... in his words, Russia has posted border infantry, artillery, AIR DEFENSE facilities.
"It's a combined tactical groups, they can perform different operations," said Kirby.
The Pentagon spokesman also emphasized that Russia continues to supply militants of artillery, tanks and AIR DEFENSE systems, thus contributing to the escalating situation in the Donbas.
He knows what he’s talking about. I know that for sure.
Looks like the cold war is heating up. What happened with the President who won the Nobel Peace Prize? What about Hillary’s reset button with Russia?
This is the second round of this particular, "damed if you do what we demand, damned if you don't" game.
Putin should invade or NOT—Pull out and let the Ukrainians take over—or just annex the land into a greater Russia. One or the other.
Gee, Rashputin.. What DON”T you understand?
Russia is CONSTANTLY sending troops, weapons & military supplies ACROSS the border.
The only thing left is another Crimea like invasion!
