LOS ANGELES – Four U.S. teens were charged Tuesday with murder in the fatal beating of a Chinese graduate student with a baseball bat and wrench as he walked to his apartment.

Two of the suspects, aged 16 and 17, were juveniles charged as adults in the slaying of Xinran Ji, 24, an engineering student at the University of Southern California who was attacked early Thursday. He was able to make his way to his apartment. A roommate discovered him dead hours later.

The defendants — 17-year-old Alberto Ochoa, 16-year-old Alejandra Guerrero, 18-year-old Andrew Garcia and 19-year-old Jonathan Del Carmen — will be arraigned Aug. 12 on one count each of murder with a special circumstance of murder in the course of an attempted robbery, prosecutors said...

The Chinese student was just studying here as a foreign student. He was returning to China after finishing his studies.

"Ji had excelled at one of China’s best universities and won a scholarship for excellence in research and innovation, according to the university. He also won a prize in Zhejiang University’s mathematical modeling contest."

"The Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles called his death cruel and said representatives had urged U.S. authorities to take measures to ensure the safety of Chinese students, according to a statement."

We don't know if the attackers were immigrants, legal or illegal, or native born.

Four parasites attack and kill a producer for what?

Sadly we support the parasites and their families, why?

SAD.

Just speculation, but it seems to be one set of immigrants attacking another...

Jeb Bush wouldn't speculate he would tell you that the mexicans/hispanics where just bestowing an act of love upon the Chinese student.

Are you kidding?

Most blacks left south central LA years ago...They went to the north east, the south, places like Chicago, the midnight train to Georgia etc etc...

S.Central is probably 80 percent Hispanic now...

And crime has been way down for about 14 years now...But it’s still not the place ya want to go to dinner or school.

Yes, as is Drexel University in the slums of Philly. Which my eldest grandson just graduated from School of Engineering.
They do have tons of policemen, many on bikes covering the area....he had no trouble, none that he told us about.

This is what happens when the law is mocked

Violent gangs operate with impunity, and now the border is open

I heard its going to take a week for his family to get over here

East LA is populated mostly by Mexican and other south of the Border immigrants. Vast numbers of illegals live there and it’s a hotbed for MS-13 and other horribly violent gangs. Yes, USC is in the heart of it. Liberals have destroyed most of our inner cities and are in the process of destroying all of them.

USC may be a great university, but, how many of us would have 2nd thoughts about being in the ghetto to get that education???

We could have a measure of respect for the Chinese edition of the KGB if they would quietly liquidate these rodents.
