The age-old anti-Semitic blood libel makes yet another appearance to justify Hamas’s targeting of innocent Israeli civilians and threats of a new genocide of the Jews. But the international media is too busy presenting Hamas press releases as news stories to take any notice.

In a recent TV interview, Osama Hamdan, top Hamas representative in Lebanon and a member of the Hamas political bureau, said: “We all remember how the Jews used to slaughter Christians, in order to mix their blood in their holy matzos.”
Following is an excerpt from the interview, which aired on the Lebanese Al-Quds TV channel on July 28, 2014.
Osama Hamdan: The Israelis concentrate on killing children. I believe that this is engraved in the historical Zionist and Jewish mentality, which has become addicted to the killing of women and children.

Okay, the stuff about the blood in the matzos is an old, old canard, and nobody but someone who hates Jews would believe it. But did the Jews *ever* fight with Christians and kill them? I can’t think of an instance. History buffs, can you fill me in? Or is this also another total lie? Thanks!

The Hamas guy is repeating the 19th century blood libel invented by the Ochrana ( Czarist Russian Secret Police) this load of unadulterated bovine scatology has been repeated literally for more a century.
Can anyone cite a date with a triple- or quadruple-digit year when this may have happened?
