Well, if anyone would know about taking money from casino owners to curry political favor for them, it would be Abramoff.

It isn’t corruption but it is a perfect example of cronyism. After all, Adelson doesn’t want online gambling banned out of the goodness of his heart. He wants it banned so people who like to gamble will go to casinos, preferably his.

Using government to hobble the competition is not a free market ideal.
