Homophones, as any English grammarian can tell you, are words that sound the same but have different meanings and often different spellings such as be and bee, through and threw, which and witch, their and there.
This concept is taught early on to foreign students learning English because it can be confusing to someone whose native language does not have that feature.
But when the social-media specialist for a private Provo-based English language learning center wrote a blog explaining homophones, he was let go for creating the perception that the school promoted a gay agenda.

At least they are drawing a line in the sand; we don’t tolerate even the appearance of support for faggotry. Sometimes you have to break a few eggs. I’d rather have this than the ubiquitous converse.
This article is useless without some some link to the actual blog (which the article doesn’t include). Maybe it’s full of double entendre?
Otherwise, I agree that this is really, really, depressingly stupid.
Are you kidding? Should we not teach about homogeneous substances in Chemistry class? This is pure insanity.

God, we are such a stupid country now.
And what about homogenized milk?
What about the study of prehistoric man, such as homo erectus? Are we now just not able to use the given terms because of how we have mainstreamed homosexuality in our culture?
