The Central Intelligence Agency improperly and covertly hacked into computers used by Senate staffers to investigate the spy agency's Bush-era interrogation practices, according to an internal investigation.
CIA Director John Brennan has determined that employees "acted in a manner inconsistent with the common understanding" brokered between the CIA and its Senate overseers, according to agency spokesman Dean Boyd.
The stunning admission follows a scathing, 40-minute speech by Senate Intelligence Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein on the Senate floor back in March, in which she accused the CIA of secretly accessing her panel's computers....
At the time, Brennan denied Feinstein's accusations, telling NBC News reporter Andrea Mitchell, "As far as the allegations of the CIA hacking into Senate computers, nothing could be further from the truth. That's beyond the scope of reason."
But after being briefed on the inspector general's findings, Brennan "apologized" on Tuesday to both Feinstein and the panel's top Republican, Sen. Saxby Chambliss, for the actions of his officers, spokesman Boyd said.

Welcome to Washington DC in the age of 0bama.
America was a good idea while it lasted.
Well why didn’t they include IRS in their hacking.
Muslim JOHN BRENNAN will save us.
Brennan is a loose cannon. Although a former CIA agent, he should not be in charge of the CIA.
It all equals massive smattering. SSSSHHHHH..........Can't say anything.
In the old days, something like this would force a resignation.
But not in Barry’s world - the more criminal the merrier.
Men died on Omaha Beach FOR THIS.....?
Sure is. We're in the "all bets are off" phase.
the next move will be to nominate rodney king for head of CIA. This is bizzaro world ... anything is possible immediately.
Feinswine only got mad when it happened to HER.
But to US.....? She was fine with it.
One thing you can be sure of, no one will be indicted, prosecuted, imprisoned or fined, in fact no one will be fired, perhaps some low level employee maybe be passed over for raise if anything at all...MAYBE!
MAYBE...those responsible have already been promoted and celebrated for their actions, that would be the best bet.
The government is too busy trying to protect airplanes and illegal “immigrants” to worry about anything else.
The powerful California Democrat ... charged the agency with possibly violating the Constitution.
I never thought I'd agree with Feinstein on anything, but on this I do. Now if only she would only water, feed, fertilize, nurture, and sustain this new-found love of the Constitution!
think rodney king might be dead ... drown in a swimming pool accident (iirc) ... perfect nominee ... democrats can play the ‘can’t we get along card’ endlessly.
Lying works,, look at Clinton.
Look how far Obama made it..
all on lies.
DiChiFi should know that.
