49-year-old neurosurgeon Armen Nikoghosian quit his job in Tyumen and rushed to save the Ukrainian soldiers, write "Facts".

He also drove an ambulance and, together with two assistants - a driver and a nurse Alena Ilya - four months assisting the wounded in the hottest parts of our country.

"A Tyumen I quit as soon as I saw the news about events in Ukraine. Rushed to Kiev. I have family, children. Immediately went to the Maidan. Couple of days it was quiet, and nineteenth of January, Epiphany, began the fight on the street, Grushevskogo... The wounded was — hundreds! One case I will never forget. Bullet in the shoulder and through the neck into the skull. However, I managed to remove it and revive the patient. "Everything worked: the boy alive, often calls me"- he said.

Then the doctor went to work in the area of ATO - they say that an ambulance can get, even where APCs are not.

"Only scumbags shooting at ambulance. A professional military - among many Russian soldiers terrorists - respected medical work.

Once brought food for the wounded, and all of a sudden we were stopped at the checkpoint of the separatists. And was so politely asked for a pill for a toothache. Well, I gave the medication.

They say, "you Armen with Ukrainian symbolism do not go/travel, and we will shoot accurately." Now, we have reanimobile [medical car?] Ukrainian flag on it; on me I have on a baseball cap and T-shirt with the coat of arms of Ukraine.

"I will go - I told them. Because I was in terrotory of Ukraine!" said Nikogosian.
