More importantly, these kids will be attending our schools, which, with Nazi like requirements, made sure that our kids were up to date with shots. We didn’t want to give our kids chicken pox shot, but the school district would not allow them to attend without it. Even as a teacher, I am not allowed into the classroom without up to date shots - I have to be tested for TB every other year as well as fingerprinted.
Mmmmmmm, I wonder it the LSM will run a story such as that.

There is a room where the immigrants will get to pick new clothes. Every illegal immigrant will be able to choose six sets of clothes, including shoes and socks.
The feds estimate it will cost approximately $74,000 a day to house 532 immigrants at the center. That’s an average of $140 a day per person.
Officials did not disclose how much the government spent to refurbish the center.

My grandkids just had their shots yesterday to go to middle school, the age bracket of many of the illegal aliens...
but the illegal aliens wont have to prove they have up to date shot records...
they wont even have to prove just who they are...

Chickenpox is the precursor to SHINGLES, which is a much more dangerous condition to Seniors. And most of our Population has not been vaccinated for Chickenpox, it is only about a 10*12 year old vaccine. Not all seniors are able to have the Shingles Vaccine because of compromised immune systems.

The last time I went to the dentist was to have a crown re-glued on that had fallen out, that cost a $100 out of my pocket. Our Gov’t run health care does NOT cover dental. Nor vision, unless it is cataract surgery or eye diseases. Nor do they pay for glasses. I have to replace mine yearly due to vision changes from Fibromyalgia (FMS) and that is another $500 out of my pocket. Tricare Life nor Medicare provide those services.

years ago when I taught GED I had students in their 60s..
TB is a special concern. My wife was a school nurse and had an immigrant student from Bosnia who tested positive for TB. Fortunately the positive test was a result of a BCG vaccine sometimes used in Europe, but she had great difficulty in getting the parents to allow a chest X-ray to confirm hat the kid was TB free. Another nearby school was not so lucky and had another refugee student who did have active TB. The entire school had to be skin tested and several students and teachers had to take anti-TB medications for a year.
When hubby was teaching at S.W. Jr College, most of his students were from Memphis, A/B math grads, his first chore was to teach REMEDIAL math. His foreign students were far more advanced and did not need it. Then he could teach his main subjects electronics and computer science.
