Is America Too Far Gone?

A recent poll by The Pew Research Center is reporting that America is more divided than ever. According to the poll, 66% of consistently conservative Republicans think the Democrats’ policies threaten the nation’s well-being and half (50%) of consistently liberal Democrats say Republican policies jeopardize the nation’s well-being. With everything that is going on in our country, all Americans should be united. So, what is it that has us divided? The issues that we are facing effects all Americans on both sides of the political fencefrom foreign policy disasters, wide-open borders to the economy.

It’s almost like they’re turning it in to a democracy or something where majority rules. Uh, that wasn’t the idea folks. “...if you can keep it.”

Game Over, Sayonara, Lights Out...

I heard Dennis Prager say as much the other day.

Decades of leftist monopoly of Education, Popular Culture and Journalism has sealed the deal.

Talk Radio, Free Republic and Drudge cannot reverse or defeat those monolithic politically motivated forces.

I smell toast!

I don’t know if you mean to be saying that as hyperbole. In my day-to-day observations, people are openly rejecting God, but still pleasant and nice. It seems like a feather can break the dike to all out evil. IMHO.

We could carry the division just a little further. Like dividing the country into “red zones” and “blue zones”.

Divide the country up by congressional districts, and those that voted “red” in the last election would be in one zone, regardless of state boundaries, and the ones that vote a consistent “blue” put in a number of sometimes widely scattered zones, sometimes multiple zones within the boundaries of one state, and some zones joined between adjacent states. The “red” zone, which would be nearly contiguous, would still maintain the statutory delineations between the states as they existed before, but in many instances, it may be necessary to relocate the state capital, as many of the current locations of state capitals are also in hopelessly “blue” zones, And of course, it would be necessary to relocate the center of the Federal government, simply abandoning the existing structures, perhaps to Oklahoma or some other reliably “red” part of the redrawn map.

The Constitutional form of government would be reaffirmed in the “red” zone, and a very strict border policy set up between the larger “red” zone and the various “blue” zones.

The “blue” zones could then set whatever sort of cockamamie set of rules they want to be governed by, but they would not be allowed to practice those rules outside the “blue” zone. If, for whatever reason, they find themselves in a “red” zone, they have a choice of two - return to a blue zone forthwith, or be subject to arrest, trial, probable conviction and sentencing for “harboring plans for government overthrow”.

We have an example from history and even current events. East Germany and West Germany existed side by side for several decades, and we have the dichotomy of North Korea and South Korea before us even today.

The reason the answer is yes is that far too many do not even realize the extent of the damage and change.

They keep thinking that the next election will change the balance and things will normalize.

The fact is that even far too many congresscritters think the next election can change it all back.

Don't they LISTEN to crazy Nan, whispering Reid, our choom guy president? Nope.

As a Polish minister put it recently in an article--the trouble with America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry that would elect a Barack Obama.

Evil can smile lovingly, most certainly, when not openly provoked. But even slightly express conservatism, and you are lambasted, your livelihood is threatened, and your family is targeted, in many cases.

For instance, just publicly affirm true marriage for what it is, to the exclusion of all other fake contrivances, and the smiles will turn to rabid sneers and contemptuous screams.

The demographic trend (both citizens and illegals) is not our friend.

In a recent WSJ op-ed, Plouffy even bragged how Hispanics are going to turn Arizona, Georgia, and eventually Texas blue and lock in a Democrat/progressive regime for the forseeable future.

I’ve never seen so much anger from the Democrats. I take that as a good sign. I think that shows that they are feeling confused. They are questioning their own view of the world. It may be subconsciously, but they are questioning.
This is a tremendous opportunity for the Republicans. They should run some ads that explain what conservatism is. “We believe in these things....”

Coming from the Alabama, “Cradle of the Confederacy”, I’ve often wondered about the people who voted for secession, and whether we should have another go at it.

I’ve changed my mind.

We need to kick out the leftist states and their leftist people from the United States.

Maryland, including Wash DC and Northern Virginia suburbs, up through to New England could become New Europe. California, the Portland/Salem Oregon area and Western Washington state could become Leftopia. Let Hawaii become a separate kingdom again. Chicago could join Canada. Eastern Canada could then join the New Europe Socialist Republic. Western Canada would join the United States. Vancouver could join Leftopia.

Who was I listening to? I think it was VDH. In 1941 Nazi Germany controlled all of Europe and Saharan Africa, the US wasn’t in the war, the Soviet Union was essentially allied with Germany, Japan was conquering the Pacific, and Great Britain stood alone. How dark were those days! Few would have said that by 1945 Hitler would be dead, Germany surrendered, and Japan defeated.

It’s dark now, and maybe even darker because there are so few real men, but I think men will rise to the need. We will, because we must.

Parts of what is now “America” could survive with a split from the blue states. But as a 50-state entity, this country is indeed too far gone.

How dark were those days!

But America has never been as bitterly factionalized as it is now, save for the Civil War.

Idiots cannot unite. Much of America has no idea what in the hell is going on and as long as King Obama provides for them they can continue to play like children.
