A recent poll by The Pew Research Center is reporting that America is more divided than ever. According to the poll, 66% of consistently conservative Republicans think the Democrats’ policies threaten the nation’s well-being and half (50%) of consistently liberal Democrats say Republican policies jeopardize the nation’s well-being. With everything that is going on in our country, all Americans should be united. So, what is it that has us divided? The issues that we are facing effects all Americans on both sides of the political fencefrom foreign policy disasters, wide-open borders to the economy.

Not only is America too far gone, but so is the entire world.

When we see and attempt to digest all of the evil around us, and the collapse of America, we find it hard to discern, much less accept.

Unless, that is, we view it from the vantage point of God's foretelling of what will happen.

There is one word to describe why so much of America, and also the world, is spinning out of control: Deception.

The entire world is deceived by the Satan, and deceived by their own wicked hearts.

The deception is massive, and it is global.

America is falling apart economically, militarily, socially, morally, spiritually, legally, and politically.

Why do millions of Americans believe Obama, and everything the Democrats and the media say? Because of this:

"For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things."

Philippians 3:18-19 _______________________________________________

"We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one."

1 John 5:19

________________________________________________

If we attempt to 'rationalize' the mass deception of American and the world, we run into the great "BUT WHY?!" that perplexes, frustrates, and astounds us. It is only through the lens of God's truth that we can understand. Humanity is coming apart at the seams. So what are we to do?

Here is what we are to do: each one of us must go to God in prayer, and get ourselves right with Him in these remaining days. All of us are sinners, myself included. Each one of us has sins that need to be confessed to our Father. If one has not confessed to the Savior and asked for salvation, that is the first step. To those of us who have, we need to recommit ourselves to Him, confess, repent, and pray.

"Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming."

Colossians 3:5-6

Look around us, what do we see? Diseases, pestilence, war, lawlessness, selfishness, immorality, and evil.

America will fall under the same Antichrist system that then entire world will fall under. We have no special escape clause.

But each one of does have the option, and privilege, to get right with God.

“Never seen the country more divided”

That’s what happens when you have absolutely no leadership.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner!
You have never been more right in your life.
So far, only Ted Cruz and Palin to an extent are leading the country. No Boehner, no 0bummer, no one else at all are leading. Not that I want them to, however, it is kinda like your kids; they need to be told do this, do that...but not like 0bummer is dictating, like that it is in love.

the “blue” part would make Mexico look good in a matter of years..

We’d need walls, fences, armed guards basically a well militarized boarder with them.

They are already fleeing blue states and infesting red ones. This has to be stopped to keep them from destroying the red half.

Stopped reading there. Essayists who can’t spell aren’t worth reading.

liberal Democrats say Republican policies jeopardize the nation’s well-being

Keep in mind, when Democrats talk about "the nation", they really mean their "cushy government jobs".

Yes, because a critical mass of her people have become completely reprobate and incurably evil.

Agree - see my post #41.

The way things are right now is better than civil war, but civil war is preferable to where we’ll be in 10 years. Even though it’ll be ugly. We’re coming out of a lugubrious fog and into the unhinged factioning you’re talking about. Maybe a better student of history can predict the next phase. I can’t. I don’t think things can keep going as they are though. There are too many well armed people who don’t like it.

The Constitutional form of government would be reaffirmed in the “red” zone, and a very strict border policy set up between the larger “red” zone and the various “blue” zones.

And there is the rub.

No nation or nation state in human history has been able to successfully carve out its own niche and separate itself from the surrounding peoples without a strong military to back up the separation with both violence and force.

It is "government" reduced to its core - there must be the law of war to govern the action of independence itself.

The day may come where a state like Texas decides it has had enough, and the governor or the people launch their own National Guard or citizen military into action.

It may take a lot of force, or it may take less - it depends on how strong the other surrounding states or the Federal government itself is at the time. To put it another way, if the entire Federal government were in collapse, the states that wanted to could more easily declare their independence (see: Soviet Union).

When the South succeeded from the North, the North was far from weak. In fact, it was much more populous and industrial than the agrarian South.

We live in interesting times.

I think the fatal blow has been delivered in the form of some of those executive orders that allow for the seamless imposition of what amounts to martial law: control of the internet, authorization of FEMA camps, the arming of DHS and other bureaucrat departments. Its enough to make anyone who looks turn into a conspiracy nut.
The judiciary is there to rubber stamp any decisions with the curious idea that no one has “standing” to challenge a damn thing the government does or says or imposes.
The press manipulates public opinion and the gibmedats are out numbering the producers.

I think the blow has been dealt. Just a matter of closing a few loose ends.

Or when Ebola comes to our shores, and Martial Law is declared.

SECESSION

Is The Only Answer

The nation, the 50 states plus the District of Columbia,*is* too far gone. This nation,as currently constituted,is in a steep, irretrievable, state of decline. However, certain areas/regions of the nation *can* be saved.I'm thinking first of the "red" states.

Let California,New York,Illinois,Vermont, etc make EBT cards mandatory.Let them make all physicians employees of the central government.Let them annex Mexico,Guatemala,El Salvador, etc.Let them legally recognize twelve different "gender identities".Let them destroy their Department of Defense and replace it with a Department of Peace,Love and Inclusiveness.

We can do better.Far better. We learned how to do so from our parents, grandparents and earlier generations.

I listened to Jay Sekulow testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee this week. Sekulow used to work for the legal office of the IRA years ago, has argued several cases successfully before the Supreme Court, and represents dozens of clients who have been persecuted by the IRS and the DOJ under Obama.

Sekulow's testimony was legally brilliant. He laid out the entire case of why the IRS, Holder, Congress, and Obama were bringing American citizens to their knees, and it had to be stopped.

In the end, nothing will be done. The wolfs (Holder, Reid, Obama, Pelosi) will not burn down their own houses in the name of justice.

The criminals are running the penitentiary.
