Unaccompanied illegal immigrant children with communicable diseases have given or exposed federal agents to lice, scabies, tuberculosis and chicken pox, according to a report issued Thursday by the Department of Homeland Securitys Office of Inspector General.
In two cases, the children of a border patrol agent got chicken pox contracted from their parents exposure to unaccompanied children with chicken pox, according to the report on conditions of detention centers and border facilities.
The report, the first in a series, is based on 87 unannounced visits to 63 detention centers being used to house unaccompanied alien children (UAC) in Texas, Arizona and California during July 1-16.
Many UAC and family units require treatment for communicable diseases, including respiratory illnesses, tuberculosis, chicken pox, and scabies, said the memorandum summarizing the report....

That second pic reminds me of Dante’s “Inferno”. I didn’t know what it was until I zoomed in. Dang!
Have you seen this little piece of news?
By the way, lice are not “cured” with one good insecticide shampoo . They frequently return to those treated before, and then they spread through a classroom of children, frequently when coats and hoodies are hung in close proximity on coat racks. We lived in South Texas when our children were young and head checks were a regular thing at their schools, thanks to “diversity.”
Why was my comment removed by the moderator?
I have been regularly posting on FreeRepublic for almost 15 years now and cannot think of a single reason why the post was removed.
Wait till the first case of someone finding some “kid” bleeding-out collapsed on the ground from Ebola.
Obama may assume that he has a free pass to ignore established legal U.S. immigration laws, which have enormous permanent consequences, the illegality of which remains to be announced.
He can't, however, by fiat, introduced a serious health epidemic on the American people.
Why is an insane Chief Executive allowed to continue to run loose creating chaos, confusion, medical emergencies and general mayhem?
When things get that bad, what options to the citizens have to stop it?
Spare me the bromide of elections, consequences and the rule of law.
There no longet IS a rule of law. An alternative remedy is needed. NOW!
It has finally come to this. Act or be subjected to fatal diseases on the whim of a single insane megalomaniac! And his enablers, of course.
There is a reason Ellis Island existed.
If you come up with a solution, please let us know. The only thing I can think of is praying he is removed from office. Well, one way or another. You know - impeachment./s
Moderators with no common sense!
Dang! is right.
No further comment.
I don’t know. I didn’t catch what you posted.
Would it be legal to give them bus tickets to Canada? Mexico allows Central Americans through their country to get them here so why not keep them moving north instead of stopping them?
It was the post with the picture that reminded you of Dante’s Inferno.
Impeachment is a trap. That's what the entire Obama/Soros/Chaos for America machine is promoting relentlessly.
The problems created by impeaching the Dictator has been discussed ad nauseam. Suffice to say if the enablers are pushing it, it can't be good.
However, many others can be impeached; and if the Senate fails to convict, they WILL answer to the American citizens. Sooner or later.
The House has the ultimate power of the purse. They can defund Obama's "pen and telephone" right out from under him, and from his storm trooper agencies, too.
The House members need a very strong kick in the pants to awaken them from their apparent stupor.
Probably a copyright issue.
It can, but the antibiotic-resistant strain is much harder to cure. Maybe time to embrace the BCG vaccine for the public?
Probably a copyright issue.
