KARNES CITY, Texas (AP) — Federal immigration officials on Thursday sought to show the softer side of immigrant detention, complete with cartoon wall murals, stuffed animals, playgrounds, snacks and a hair salon at a South Texas facility that will house women and their children who crossed the border illegally.

but Obama is not enticingg them to come here illegally..
God forbid that they should have messy hair while they are in line to get their EBT cards.
Lying sack of democratic shit.
should not consider it a desirable destination
Cartoon idea: I think I must have died on that train and gone to heaven.
So, does the “hair salon” shave them bald and massage their scalp with gaoline?
Best way to get rid of the lice.
Nothing is too good for new Rat voters!
excuse me but JHC!!!
They might spend a lot of their time combing out/treating lice .... not that I think a ‘hair salon’ is something that should be offered as a perk to ILLEGALS.
That’s what I was thinking. Do workers in the hair salon get HAZMAT suits?
I hope the taxpayers are tipping big!
Yeah no wonder it costs $140 a day living expenses for these illegal aliens..
I don’t remember the last time I got my hair done..
and also at hair salons are manicures and pedicures...
Im sure the “children” just have to have those ...
I simply cannot believe this. Did I read this correctly? And I quote:” Further inside they will have access to a dental care, a bilingual library, playrooms, child care, pay phones, flat-screen TVs, free Internet access, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, weightlifting equipment, a small soccer field and a soon-to-be installed playground play scape.” And that includes a hair salon for women. Are you kidding me? And at $140 per person per day. Basically this is the equivalent of Jimmy Carter’s Mariel Boatlift disaster. http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/castro-announces-mariel-boatlift
When will the Govt provide me a $140 per person per day vacation voucher??? The family would luv to stay at one of the those fancy resorts at Disney World.***crickets**
Don’t worry. The salon is going to be run like a military recruit barber shop. All the “customers” will be sheared, top and bottom. It’s a lice removal program. The cuttings will be collected and distributed to ACLU, congressional offices and liberal celebrities homes. That’s a wonderful program!!!!!
What’s that noise??? Oh no, it’s a Homeland Security swat team breaking down my door...
It costs me $80 plus tip every time I go to the salon. I’m American and expected to pay though.
Actually American women should line up outside the gate insisting on getting their hair done for free. Equal treatment and all that.....
I feel a rant coming on (certainly not directed at you Nana): These are all symptoms of our problem. Decent treatment for the aliens, health screening or the failure of such, even many of the individuals coming here are only symptoms of our national problem. The real problem is a government with far less concern for its own citizens than for a one world ideology, a progressive orthodoxy. That’s the only explanation for enticing people to this country without even a background check as to possible criminal, gang, narco trafficker backgrounds. There is no health screening even after they are here. There are no jobs available for them without displacing Americans in this horrendous Obama economy.
This is transparently a ploy to subvert American electoral politics by establishing an overwhelming progressive (communist approving) electorate. That’s an objective observation, not xenophobia. There is a world of difference between the Sudanese Christian immigrants we welcomed today with their search for religious freedom and the masses being enticed here by Obama who are being given a hate America chip to put on their shoulders
