A Hamas terror cell attacked a Givati unit on Friday in Rafah and kidnapped an officer after the Israeli soldiers discovered a large cross-border terrorism tunnel, stretching from Rafah deep into Israel, a senior army source said Saturday.
A tunnel shaft on the Gazan side surfaced in an open area surrounded by homes. Terrorists emerged from the shaft, and a suicide bomber detonated himself near the soldiers, before the officer was kidnapped, the source said.

What the these Arabs have done is more than biting the hand that feeds them, this is biting the hand, ripping it off and chewing it. Any effort to be kind to Palestinians is rewarded with hatred and violence. It's time to quit pretending they're 'nice people'...
Arab countries need to contribute desert land to the Palestinians and allow them the privilege of making the desert bloom - just like the Israelis did... Palestinians can start by planting a few thousand trees... I'm sure in 60 years they'll have created a wonderful place to live... /s
The bomber sounds like one of those people who drives around with a 'Coexist' bumper sticker on his car.
wow, how long did that take and how many children died while building it. Join me in prayer for the 2nd Lt.
There already is a “Palestinian State.” It’s also known as Jordan and formerly as Trans Jordan located in east Palestine. 80% of Palies in Gaza and the West Bank have family in Jordan.
Send them packing to their homeland. If they cause any trouble for the king he will take care of it and the world won’t even flinch since Muzzie-on-Muzzie violence is no issue with them.
Well.....Jordan is dominated by Bedouin tribes who hate what they call `city Arabs’ (Palis).
The main route from the West Bank to Jordan is the Allenby Bridge. There must exist figures on the aggregate nationalities of those crossing & in which direction.
The King of Jordan has not forgotten that kerfuffle called Black September 1970. It wasn’t a difference of opinion, the PFLP wanted the monarchy overthrown & a radical state in its place. Much hatred & distrust since, & the late King Hussein really stuck it to the Palis when he normalized relations with Israel.
I do wonder how many terrorist tunnels there are here in USA...???

GPS implants would make sense for the IDF.
If Arabs really cared around the Palestinians as much as they say they do - which is debatable - this is an easy answer. Arabs can can put in cash or land. I'm sure Palestinians will make the desert bloom - just like the Israelis did... or maybe not.

They want a Palestinian state so bad. Guess what? It already exists! Move all of them there to Jordan and have all of the Arab countries help pay for the move.
When Arafat and his PLO started causing problems for the Jordanian king the king just slaughtered them and ended up driving them into Lebanon. The world didn’t say anything about that!
And King Hussein lived on to die of natural causes & full of years.
Again, Jordanians don’t want Palis any more than any other Arab nation. Palis are the worst of the worst.
A majority of Jordan is made up of people who call themselves Palestinian, and a majority of ‘Palestinians’ live in Jordan, ruled by a family from Mecca.
So there ya are, da `two state solution’, done deal!
The traditional way Muslim countries have become successful in modern times is by discovering their land sits on a blooming money tree of oil.
If Arab countries donated land and money to create a "Palestine' - land far away from Israel - we could discover if Muslim culture can make the desert bloom - - without the benefit of oil.
It would be interesting to watch them planting trees...
My guess is that in 70 years "Palestine' would be a third world hellhole. And at war with their neighbors - but I could be wrong. Only one way to find out for sure...
