The House Intelligence Committee, led by Republicans, has concluded that there was no deliberate wrongdoing by the Obama administration in the 2012 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans, said Rep. Mike Thompson of St. Helena, the second-ranking Democrat on the committee.

The panel voted Thursday to declassify the report, the result of two years of investigation by the committee. U.S. intelligence agencies will have to approve making the report public.

Thompson said the report “confirms that no one was deliberately misled, no military assets were withheld and no stand-down order (to U.S. forces) was given.” …

The RINOs were always collaborators, going back to the beginning of the last century with the “Progressive” movement. Never mind what they tried to do to Reagan when he had the “temerity” to challenge Gerald Ford in 1976.

Personally, I would like to see Texas secede and become a separate nation as it once was.

Then—we would have to throw out all the yankees and other non-Texans.

We would need to have our borders guarded well, of course.

Just kidding, of course. (sorta)

Careful now...slandering 'idiots' may just get you charged with a Holder 'hate crime.'

I suppose that incompetence does not equal wrongdoing.

The only way for a majority of us to regain what we once had is for the whole house of cards to collapse

************
We’re well on our way toward collapse. Nominal national debt of $18 trillion and unfunded liabilities of nearly $120 trillion. This debt is simply unpayable.

The USA as we once knew it is gone.

Was Mike Rogers the head of this House Panel?

If so, that goes a long way to explain why he chose not to run again.

No whey. Mr. Anti-Islamic-Terror Peter King went along with this? My my my. Guess he’s on board with that “one struggle” thing after all.

Funny, the report is not yet released and a Democrat says there is nothing in it and everybody automatically believes him.

Why. Now.

Shaking my head.

I realize the source for the article regarding the results of the investigation is a dem. He is giving the media their talking points prior to Gowdy’s hearings.

But still, why even release the report before Gowdy’s hearings, which start in early September? That's on the heads of the Republicans on the committee.

Per the article “U.S. intelligence agencies will have to approve making the report public.”

I can see this play out now:

1. Committee votes to make report public.
2. The talking points from Thompson are really nothing new. The dems have been claiming these points all along.
3. Intelligence Agencies either do not approve release of report or redact it in such a way that the only items made public are those which obliquely support points made by Thompson.

The dem strategy to fight the findings of the Benghazi select committee is to taint the jury pool in the court of public opinion.

By voting for the release of the report, the GOP fell for it (or went along with it) hook, line & sinker.

Well the “burglars” at Watergate didn’t get much of anything either but it was the “LIES” that brought down Nixon.

I vote for “went along with it”. No change from the anti-Reagan attitudes of 1976.

I get it, failing to protect, failing to respond, lying about the cause and covering it up for weeks, no wrongdoing.

Move along, nothing to see here.

Careful EVERYONE!

Read the article. This report has not been declassified for release and the said Congressman is speaking out of nothing but to set the narrative in front of the real release to declare it “old news”. Said Congressman should be hung for espionage and treason immediately for to give his talking points to help the lawless administration.

Consider the source of the San Francisco Gate news rag.

WITH THAT BEING SAID, I will still stand that everyone who commented on the snippet provided had credible reasons for believing the GOPe would honestly do something like this to protect the overall establishment which further demands we throw them all out.
