Republicans support immigration crisis spending (Guatemala Media)

GOOGLE TRANSLATION: WASHINGTON - The Republican legislation was approved by 223 votes in favor and 189 against on Friday night in a vote that was resolved almost according to party lines.

Last minute changes supported by staunch conservatives who a day earlier had forced party leaders to pull the bill from floor debates they won.

The project would increase the costs for the National Guard at the border and add immigration judges and detention facilities. Makes changes in policies so that children can be deported faster.

But as the Senate and went on vacation, the project has no chance of becoming law.

Democrats believe that it is a farce, and President Barack Obama has said he will have to go it alone in this respect.

Lawmakers also approved a provision to cancel a program that allows Obama migrants who were brought to the United States without permission as children remain in the country.

Legislation passed by 216 votes in favor and 192 against could put more than 700,000 migrants who have received temporary work permits at risk of being deported.

Lost in translation? Prolly used the translator from the Mandela Memorial.

Turd World journo also failed to report that all of it is being paid for by US foreign aid cuts to these hellholes.

Vote-crazed Obama's agit-prop is that he's the global savior, that the swarms at the border are "fleeing Central America violence and savage drug cartels into the shelter of the US gravy train."

=================================================

REALITY CHECK At Tuesday's House hearing on immigration, brilliant CONG LOUIE GOHMERT (REP-TX) had this eye-opening exchange with the Obama appointee rubber-stamping illegals into the US:

GOHMERT: WRT drug cartels paid $6000 to "guide" the hordes over the border---"Would you, as a former prosecutor, call them criminals?" Gohmert nonchalantly asked Obama appointee, Leon Rodriguez--now heading a DHS agency.

The smirking Rodriguez stepped headlong into the trap as Cong Gohmert casually hoisted him on his own petard.....making the point that if the hordes were coming here to escape drug cartels, why is it they are consorting w/ the nasty criminals, and are paying the violent breed to accompany them over the border?

Definitely not the behavior of someone in mortal fear, "forced" to escape to the US for protection. More likely, the swarm is in collusion w/ the cartels. Better check those backpacks.
