According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, 57,525 undocumented immigrant children under the age of 18 and traveling without a parent or guardian were apprehended between Oct. 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014. For 2015, the White House said up to 150,000 undocumented children will enter the U.S. With many undocumented immigrant children being apprehended to detention centers, they have the opportunity to make their case to stay in the U.S. at an immigration court hearing.
As Latin Post reported, the Department of Justice noted that the U.S. immigration courts have a backlog of 375,373 cases, approximately 50,000 more cases than in 2012. According to National Association of Immigration Judges President Dana Leigh Marks, she has scheduled immigration cases as far as 2018.

Um, okay, I have a question; who in the heck is paying for this legal counsel? Who am I kidding, WE ARE!
Elections have consequences! But hey, at least we beat Romney!
I think that in November, even the LIVs will be so pissed at the Dems for this immigration invasion that a bunch of them that normally wouldn’t vote in a mid-term will go to the polls and vote GOP.
Well duhhhhhhhh! When the courts are packed with leftist scum, this is no surprise.
In your face Gringos!
This is how it should work: where are your parents? In honduras, etc. - you go to hondruas, etc.
In the US - legally? OK you can stay. Illegally? You and they both get tossed.
Our government is permitting and invasion of people who have NOTHING to contribute to this nation.
And we’re supposed to like it, or at least, lump it.
AMERICA! Break Our Laws and Win BIG Prizes!
And the US overwhelmingly elected a Republican HOR to have the power of the purse. If we're paying for the lawyers, they're approving the money.

I can’t disagree with you here.
Let’s round the 57000 thousand up to a neat 60000. Has anyone stopped to consider how much infrastructure it takes to support 60K people? Find a city near you with a population of 60K and you have your answer. More schools than normal will be needed because most of these illegals invading us are school age.
Rand Paul's immigration speech...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.[Posted on 03/19/2013 7:04:07 AM PDT by Perdogg]
Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.
Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.
Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.
If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...
This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.
Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reformLatinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [but he's not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
And thank goodness the US taxpayers are going ot pay for their legal representatives and Holder is going to appoint all the judges on the new immigration courts.
Hey! White doosh! You’ve been played for a fool.
How much longer are you going to take it?
I guess forever. Or until you’re extinct.
"Free Republic is here to continue fighting for independence and freedom and against the unconstitutional encroachment of ever expanding socialist government...
We believe in the founding principles with all our hearts and mean to defend them to our dying breath..."
So sh*t for brains, are you trying to say this chaos we’re currently experiencing under our Marxist President would be happening with Romney?
Yeah, you keep believing that.
Pass this law
Any of the current invasion who were processed and allowed conditional entry who do not appear for their scheduled hearing are automatically denied the right to citizenship and to any rights and benefits therein and when captured deported to the country of origin
There was almost zero chance of them ever being deported by this admin, lawyers or not
The Uniparty, both saying what they think we want to hear.
‘So sh*t for brains, are you trying to say this chaos were currently experiencing under our Marxist President would be happening with Romney?’
Of course not.
When I said ‘white doosh’ I meant it in a very generic, all encompassing way, and not directed at any one person in particular.
Whites have been brainwashed and inculcated with guilt. Time to get over it and recognize that ‘people of color’ are manipulating us.
In fact, this country would be far better off if they, ‘people of color’, started behaving ‘white’.
Call it the ‘Falling Down’ syndrome but I’ve had it with this crap.
This used to be a good country.
(The past is a foreign country. They do things differently there.)
Please accept my apology for misunderstanding your post. If I had taken time to carefully read it, I wouldn’t have responded to it the way I did.
Thanks for being so cool about my blunder!
