Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu held a press conference at the Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv, as the IDF began withdrawing its troops from the Gaza Strip.
"The IDF has neutralized many terror tunnels that took years for Hamas to build," Netanyahu said at the start of his address to the nation. "The IDF has had many achievements and successes since the beginning of the operation, hitting thousands of targets, including command center, arms factories, and terrorists."
"This is a complicated mission, in an urban, built-up area, with direct contact with civilian population," he said. "I am proud of our soldiers who are doing an extraordinary job."

In other words, it is winding down the rate of operations but not ever really going to end.
How could it actually end, without a massive defeat on one side or the other? As long as there are Palestinians to shoot at Israelis and Israelis for the Palestinians to shoot at, it can’t possibly end.
Israel has to wipe out Hamas..they will NEVER have peace with Hamas because Hamas does NOT want peace, they want the total destruction of Israel..Israel can maybe make peace with the Palestinian people, because I don’t believe all of them support Hamas, many of them are terrified of Hamas and want them gone..but Hamas has got to go, its a cancer that has to be taken out

It’s Islam....that’s the problem. No-one can live in peace with Islam near.
