3 Weeks ago, Scott Biumi plead guilty to assault. According to Forsythe News, he was sentenced to 10 years on probation for pointing a gun at teenagers in the drive-through line at a south Forsyth McDonalds.
Scott Biumi, 48, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault stemming from the April 9 incident at the fast-food eatery on Old Atlanta Road.

And if a non-cop had pointed a gun at the teens, would he also have gotten probation?
That pig belongs in prison. I swear he was planing a gun when the reporter came to the door. He looks like a drunk.
“Palming a gun”. Frigging autocorrect.
Yeah probation sounds adequate.
A real gem of a peace officer. /sarc
So is this a$$hole still a cop?
There is no way he should be working as a police officer. He is literally trigger happy. If this was my kid, I would be very upset, and determined to make the police force confront the seriousness of this incident. I know kids who would have pulled out a knife to counter act this, or one of his friends could have been carrying. He is a liability waiting to happen again.
Good point, very good point.
"Free Republic is here to continue fighting for independence and freedom and against the unconstitutional encroachment of ever expanding socialist government...
We believe in the founding principles with all our hearts and mean to defend them to our dying breath..."
If you had done that it would have been 10 years of hard time.
That’s because you’re not one of the enforcement class.
If I saw a cop lying, bleeding in the road, I wouldn’t lift a finger.
Years ago, in Point pleasant NJ, there was a cop who got busted by buying pot during the daytime, in his patrol car, in full uniform.
It’s French for get me some f***ing cola...
Don’t they usually just steal it?
That story goes good with your tagline!
Just another JBT in every day action.
But! Butt! I want a Gatling gun to keep the neighborhood teens off my lawn!
Yes, you would. It’s immoral to do otherwise.
The cop came from in front of the teen’s car. How was the teen holding him up if he was in front of the teen? If he did this to one of my grandsons, I’d find him and beat him senseless with my oversized purse.
I mean, I can easily imagine him stuck behind a couple of stoners taking half their lives to order, but even in that case, you’re really not allowed to do that, Eugene.
And, the kids in the truck would have world of hurt brought on them.
Why are low-level cops called “officers”? They use military names for their positions, but you never hear of them being called privates. Is it because they are so special and superior?
The average cop is a bit of a psychopath. Does it emanate from the dooshes he has to deal with everyday? I don’t know.
When it comes to domestic violence, LEO families experience it 2 - 4 time more than the general public.
Steroids? Audie Murphy wannabees? Just don’t know.
They’re predators, just like the scumbags they’re supposed to protect us from.
But I avoid any interaction with them.
This cop didn’t just “over-react”, he pointed the gun at the wrong person. If the food is taking too long, what does the person in line in front of you have to do with that?
It wasn’t just extreme abuse of police power, it was extreme stupidity. And extreme stupidity on the part of the reporters for not figuring that part out themselves.
I don’t think all LEO’s are predators, etc. Am I concerned about the increasing police state in the US? Absolutely. The hammer needs to come down hard on cops who do crap like this. They need to be weeded out.
Either way, the Chief/Sheriff needs to go too.
An lower-ranking officer acts like a whack-job and the head of the department should be fired? Only if he encourages or covers-up such behavior.
Somebody has to be responsible for selection/hiring and training and discipline. If the boss had any honor he'd resign.
I entered his name in a search engine and discovered that he is banned from law enforcement employment for life and forbidden ever to own a gun. You can, too.
I have no:
ethnic, sagging, political, snarky or hip-hop clothing
propensity to swear
But I was robbed of my cash by the SFPD on the sidewalk during a routine stop.
Bad cops are out there —WATCH OUT.
If this can happen to me, it can happen to you, 100%.
This falls under:
If the fries aren’t hot, you will get shot,,,
Probation without personal protection while everybody around knows who he is and where he is and what he did... methinks he would need to be more watchful than the average crook.
He was having a Mac attack.
Thanks for telling us. The article only says he is on ten year probation. I had figuratively thrown my hands up about justice being done. Good to know sometimes the logical thing is what actually happens.
I might ask him if he wants me to call the cops (badoom tish)
See post # 39.
"During his plea hearing, the former detective told the judge of his 25-year battle with mental illness, including major depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress, major anxiety disorder and suicidal tendencies. He said his treatment included serious medications and even electroshock therapy."
So why wasn't he terminated 25 years ago??? Difficult to believe his supervisors and everyone around him didn't realize if he was bat**** crazy.
Well, it would be a shocker if the cad was allowed to keep on being a cop, and usually gun laws are pretty draconian about things like this (the silver lining in an otherwise dark cloud).
I suppose he could be a mall cop or other unarmed security guard.
An oversized purse is capable of carrying quite a few of those red cobblestone type bricks. It’s like having a purse full of plutonium it is.
