Obama approval drops to new low over Border crisis

There is very bad news for President Obama and the Democrats in a new poll released last night by Investor’s Business Daily. John Merline writes:

President Obama's approval rating dropped to his lowest levels as the public hammers him on his handling of each of the major crises facing the country, according to the latest IBD/TIPP poll, released on Friday.

The survey, taken the last week of July, found that only 38% of the public approves of the job Obama is doing as president, while 53% disapprove.

That's a 10-point negative swing in just the past month.

Breaking out the internals, it becomes clear that the Border Crisis is driving this sharp decline:

This drop comes despite the fact that personal outlooks and views on the economy and direction of the country have barely budged. Nor did the public's views on Obama's handling of the economy, the budget and jobs change noticeably.

But Obama got extremely low marks in his handling of every major crisis gripping the nation at home and abroad.

Just 25% say Obama is handling the border crisis well, while 56% blame his policies for encouraging the wave of illegal crossings by children and teens. Even among Democrats, only 46% say Obama is doing a good job, while less than a quarter (23%) of independents do.

IBD/TIPP is a left leaning poll, so it's a much more dire situation for Obama than the poll indicates.

No matter how far Odumbo’s popularity drops, it doesn't matter. The MSM will continue to prop him up and blame the Republicans (who are as deaf mutes), the low information voters do not connect the dots, and the same idiots that voted for him twice would do so again. That is how stupid Americans are.

That is what I have been saying all along. Obama knows this, and will exploit it to the max. Furthermore, Obama knows he and his propaganda team can move the polls ten points in his direction overnight, at any time of his choosing. And the GOP leadership, all rolled up in a fetal position in the corner, is absolutely clueless.

That is why that if Obama ran for a third term, he would win. It wouldn't matter if his opponent were Ronald Reagan or Mitt Romney. He would defeat any opponent with an (R) next to his name. We live in frightening times.

2012 proved to me that Axlerod and Plouffe could elect Charles Manson as POTUS on the Dem ticket if they wanted.

I’m now theorizing that the Clintons are going to use this as the basis of their 2016 campaign.
Basically saying that it’s inevitable that Dems are going to win, and unless you want Lizzie Warren as POTUS, Republicans should vote for Hillary in the primaries.

He can golf, fundraise, and point the finger of blame. And when he is done, he will go off like the Clintons and earn $200 million. No worries, until he has to talk to Jesus.

I understand your sentiment, but this advice (like Rush’s Operation Chaos) won’t work anymore. Primaries are where the “Third Party” battles take place - conservative vs. RINO - in states with party specific primary ballots.

Maybe these "kids" could be contained in "FEMA Camps" until they can be sent home.

Why are they being dispersed around the country? And, I say "kids" because some of these individuals are clearly tattooed, over minority age (18 or so), and some identified as MS-13 and other gang bangers.

Be very wary. I remember lots of polls saying Obama was toast the Summer before the Dems cheated their way to re-election in 2012. Could just be another attempt to get us to lower our guard.
