There is very bad news for President Obama and the Democrats in a new poll released last night by Investor’s Business Daily. John Merline writes:
President Obama's approval rating dropped to his lowest levels as the public hammers him on his handling of each of the major crises facing the country, according to the latest IBD/TIPP poll, released on Friday.
The survey, taken the last week of July, found that only 38% of the public approves of the job Obama is doing as president, while 53% disapprove.
That's a 10-point negative swing in just the past month.
Breaking out the internals, it becomes clear that the Border Crisis is driving this sharp decline:
This drop comes despite the fact that personal outlooks and views on the economy and direction of the country have barely budged. Nor did the public's views on Obama's handling of the economy, the budget and jobs change noticeably.
But Obama got extremely low marks in his handling of every major crisis gripping the nation at home and abroad.
Just 25% say Obama is handling the border crisis well, while 56% blame his policies for encouraging the wave of illegal crossings by children and teens. Even among Democrats, only 46% say Obama is doing a good job, while less than a quarter (23%) of independents do.

ObamaCare Support Falls
ObamaCare also took a hit in the latest IBD/TIPP poll, with 51% saying they oppose the law and just 41% supporting it. Last month, the public was split evenly at 46%.
The latest Kaiser Family Foundation tracking poll noted the same trend, with ObamaCare’s unfavorable rating hitting an all-time high 53% in July.
One possible contributor: negative word-of-mouth.
Of the 47% who said they’d talked to a friend or family member about the health law in the past month, 27% said they’d heard mostly bad things. Just 6% said they’d heard mostly good things, with the rest hearing both good and bad, the Kaiser survey found.
In other words, negative word-of-mouth about ObamaCare is outstripping positive word-of-mouth by more than 4-to-1.
For any private firm, that level of brand detractors would spell significant trouble.
At the same time, more also report seeing mostly negative ads about ObamaCare than mostly positive ones, 19% to 7%.
This spike in opposition to ObamaCare also comes at a time when many more enrollees are likely to have tried using their new health plans.
At best, this appears to have done nothing to bolster support for the program and may be hurting the law’s popularity.
The IBD/TIPP poll also found that more than twice as many want the law repealed as want it left alone — 47% to 21%.

I’d like to know why so many taxpayer dollars are being wasted on agencies that have anything to do with “immigration” or “homeland security”. Those people are just sitting around on their asses trying to come up with new ways to stick it to Americans.
And so what?
Liberal women have stayed steadfastly loyal to Obama through thick and thin, and they have responded well to the Administration’s pleas to take care of “the children” during the border crisis. That is about to change dramatically. As fears of disease and epidemic infection in schools take hold, the little safety moms who expect government to take care of their every need and desire will turn on this guy with a vengeance. The Democrat panic leading up to the mid term elections is going to turn into a bloodletting.
The only ones happy are new Medicaid drones and they are lumped in with Obamacare enrollees which they shouldn’t be.

Why would he care? He as fullfilled his mission to bring this country down to the lowest point it has ever been. When he gets out of office he will be treated like a king, receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars for reading off a teleprompter.

You’re right. We’re hearing that these illegal immigrant children are carrying diseases such as whooping cough, TB, swine flu and meningitis. These are the kinds of afflictions that happen in the third world and not in the United States. A mom with children in an area where these illegal children are going to be housed won’t put up with that nonsense.

I agree, they may not say so, but they view their ‘relationship’ with the government like a marriage to a man. As long as they and their needs get taken care of they’ll accept a bit of a screwing from time to time.

Did this poll survey all the future Democrat voters who are being imported by the hundreds of thousands through what use to be our Southern border? I have no doubt this crowd gives Obama a significantly higher approval rating.
The fact is the American electorate is in the process of being dissolved and replaced. Any poll that doesn’t acknowledge this is pointless.
He couldn’t care less. For a president whose goal is to crash this country in order to rebuild the government in his mind, public disapproval was expected and tells him he’s on the right track.
Exactly. He still has over 2 1/2 years of destruction left. And if anyone thinks that these negative polls portend a future rejection of Democratic candidates on election day, think again. The majority of the American electorate is irreversibly brain-dead.
