So now Korea, China or Vietnam will get the business?
Let them have the business. Who needs it????
When something was bought from Germany in the first place there had to be a reason. China and Vietnam are cheap, but technologically behind. They might not be able to do what Germans could.
Russia might just decide to do its own manufacturing.
Russians once decided to win the Cold War and bury the West. Didn’t work out for them. Very few things more complex than drilling oil have worked out for them.
Preventing the spread of Putinism trumps profits.
Germany’s economy is the strongest in Europe.
All the western countries should permanently ban export of any military and dual use technology to Russia and expect the same from their major trading partners. Both US and EU maintain embargo on weapons sales to China, how is Putin’s crap state any better ?
There was nothing stopping Korea, China and Vietnam from "getting the business" before.
So now Russia doesn't get arms from Germany.
