Feeling a wave of anti-incumbent fervor taking hold in primary races across the nation, 18-year incumbent Senator Pat Roberts, Republican of Kansas, has been polled as losing ground to a doctor and political newcomer.

A poll commissioned by the Senate Conservatives Fund, a political action committee, shows Dr. Milton Wolf within single digits - 9 points - of Roberts. This Tuesday, August 5th, the states of Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Washington State will be holding primary contests. Yet more primaries are scheduled after that in other states, leading up to the general election in November. Political observers are watching many races closely after newcomer Dave Brat in Virginia upended the Washington political establishment by knocking out the powerful House Majority Leader, US Representative Eric Cantor, despite being outspent by 40 to 1. Brat's unexpected victory forced Cantor to step down as Majority Leader, leaving the GOP to scramble for another.

Can’t believe Roberts has been in office for 47 years. Too long. Get a real job, Pat.

Well, technically he’s been in office since 1981, when he took his boss, Congressman Sebelius’ seat. But he worked for him since 1969 and before him a US senator. And he got those jobs because his dad was a former RNC chairman.

Roberts has been in office 47 years and the first time I can recall hearing him on radio in FL was a few weeks ago. If he gets reelected he will pull a Hatch and trade away his vote to give cover to RINOs up for reelection.

In 2008, America wanted Obama, and they got him. In 2012, America wanted Obama for 4 more years and they got him. Now, America deserves what she voted for. If Kansas folks reelect Roberts tomorrow in the Primary, they will deserve what they get...... One U.S. Senator representing them and Washington and 3 U.S. Senators representing Virginia in Washington.

Your move Kansas.

Funny thing is I was at a noon BBQ in Overland Park with Sen Roberts, Sen Moran and Congressman Yoder. Seems that most of the elected Republican’s in KS both State and Federal support the re-election of Senator Roberts.

Saw Campaign Carl Cammeron from Fox news there covering the event.

Would you really vote for an inexperienced Member of the Obama family for your Senator?
