UNCONFIRMED reports suggest troops have sealed off Baghdad’s “Green Zone” in an apparent coup.

Controversial Iraqi PM Maliki won a fresh round of elections, but does not hold a clear majority in parliament.

He technically remains prime minister until parliament sits and votes.

But Mr Maliki has this morning lashed out against his opponents, calling them “ministers for ISIS”.

“Today I will file a formal complaint to the federal court against the president,” he said, in a surprise address at midnight Iraq time.

Well, al-Maliki is SUPPOSED to be outgoing. He seems to have had a change of heart.

Ping, looks like all he’ll is breaking loose , watch for Iran to offer help soon and then keep an eye on Ukraine as Putin will use this as a great opportunity to send in peace keepers. Crazy times my friends.

...”Crazy times my friends”.....

It's all prerequisite for God's ultimate judgment.... Islam will continue to rise in the ME because nobody is willing to assist the US in Iraq militarily now.... Looks to me like the Almighty is permitting things to run their course in the ME.....regardless of how we think America should intervein or not. .... I don't think we can slow this down as too many Muslims in the ME are very supportive of the Caliphate even if some of them aren't directly supporting ISIS way of going about establishing it. ISIS has now declared itself "a state" not a movement.....that is huge to Muslims.

With ISIS controlling most of the country I guess the only place to hole up would be in Baghdad. Sounds like he is resisting the US Sunni Muslim president’s request for change of PMs.

Agreed, the ISIS flag s being flow in many countries in the communities that support them. I am with you it becomes more clear everyday that the religion of peace may very well be the vehicle that Alinsky’s mentor uses to facilitate the end times.

I did a refresher study today on end times etc. Because the push by ISIS in forming itself as a state is so significant....

I simply cannot see the Muslim nations stopping this.....anymore than we saw the violent take over of Maidan in Ukraine stopping. Too many supported it regardless of the violence and death..........how much more so will Muslims support ISIS because this IS their chance to formulate the Caliphate and their passion is driven by their determination to rule 'via their religious aspirations'.

When religion drives a movement as Islam does it's people...they will always support it...never oppose it.

I know we speak truly and harshly about Ali-bama....but really it’s God who establishes leaders... and in order for things to move as they are in the ME now it had to be a weak US leader in order to keep our footprint ‘out of’ the affairs we see happening now.

That is not to say my disdain for Obama isn’t justified...but when you know what’s coming you can understand why some things happen we don’t especially want to see happening.

Same with Russia and China’s moves now....these would not occur without a weak US President. The shifting of the entire region over there is moving in line with what will occur down the road.....how far God will allow this to go remains to be seen....he has slowed things down in the past as we know.

You have given me much to pray and reflect on. This does help in understanding some of the recent events.

I wanted to ask you if this does turn into a big media event and all eyes are on Iraq Monday do you see Putin marching into Ukraine to help “keep the peace” knowing Bambi is golfing

imo it’s not a “religion” it’s a demonic cult(made up, counterfeit, heretic invention) and imo the eastern orthodox church will end up defeating isl.a.m. history always repeats itself, when it’s ignored.

I watch Putin because eventually he’s going to be cut down hard when he moves toward Israel....his military will take a huge beating but in time will again gain it’s strength for the final battle.

I watch the relationship between Putin and China carefully as I don’t think China is going to stand by if Nato goes to war against Putin.

As for how far Putin will go in Ukraine...IMO he’s already writing them off .... if Ukraine was all significant to him ,other than a buffer zone, he would have already gone in. He can keep the east ‘in conflict’ which will stop the US/EU/Nato/ expansion to his very border...yet maintain a buffer zone.

Kiev cut it’s own throat because the Eu isn’t going to take them into Nato.... anymore than when they disarmed they came to Ukraine’s rescue. It’s a failed state and will remain a debtor nation. Nobody wants it...just their resources.

No..that won’t happen...the church won’t be defeating Islam....God will by his own mighty hand when the time comes.

If you research their agenda’s and believe system, you will find most everything concerning their end times is a counterfeit of Christianity....and why so many will yield to Islam as we see the beginnings of now.

Islam is ‘an ideology that masks as a religion with a heavy militant wing. Their entire lives are dictated by what they “believe” Islam is not what we know it to be. It doesn’t matter to them how we see it...just as long as we yield to it...one way or another.

What is interesting now is thus far no other nations are willing to militarily go with the US to destroy them. That because few understand nor have they identified the enemy Islam is. They see this as just another conflict to overcome....and it could very well be not just another conflict as it’s shaping out to be “something else” altogether.

Maliki is probably one of the reasons why ISIS is doing so well. He stacked the Iraqi army with his political cronies after the US pulled its troops out. Competent, American trained officers were replaced with men who’s only interest was stealing everything that wasn’t nailed down. He alienated the Kurds and Sunni groups that had allied with the central government. Even as ISIS was starting to surround Baghdad, he kept ordering the remnants of the Iraqi Army into assault after futile assault against Tikrit. At the same time, he was completely paranoid about the Kurds, blaming them for this disaster and refusing to give them supplies, their share of oil money, or military co-operation.

Actually the fall was under Nixon. I have always thought one reason JFK was killed was because he was reluctant to up the action in Vietnam. Who were the interests who were going to get the $1 billion development contract on Cam Ran Bay (or something like that). Remember when Eisenhower said, “beware the military/industrial complex?” Follow the money. Last decade it was Halliburton and Blackwater, who is it now?

It doesn’t matter if Maliki tryly opposes ISIS, his heavy handed, even brutal treatment of Sunnis has made him the wrong person to cure factional fighting.
