MALIKIYA, Syria (AP) — In a dusty camp here, Iraqi refugees have new heroes: Syrian Kurdish fighters who battled militants to carve out an escape route for tens of thousands trapped on a mountaintop.
While the U.S. and Iraqi militaries struggle to aid the starving members of Iraq's Yazidi minority with supply drops from the air, the Syrian Kurds took it on themselves to rescue them. ...
For the past few days, fighters have been rescuing Yazidis from the mountain, transporting them into Syrian territory to give them first aid, food and water, and returning some to Iraq via a pontoon bridge.

Can’t Congress authorize weapons for Iraqi forces? They refuse to do their job and impeach Obama so they should get off their dead political asses and do something.
They definitely don’t deserve a free pass as they sit on the sidelines while children are being beheaded, cut in half, and shot in the face.
Maybe they can rescue Obama from the HildeBeast at Martha’s party.. and vacationers from a nekkid Joe Biden on vacay in the Hamptons.

As I work my three jobs to make ends meet, I like to think of all the money being wasted every day so this puke can laugh it up on the golf course. What did they say, every vacation he takes costs anywhere from $20 to $100 million? And he takes one almost every month. Last time I had a vacation I think was 2008.

I was thinking that with the Kurds taking in the Christians and now rescuing a new group. All of which I sure ill take up arms against ISIS. ISIS may be able to do some thing the U.S. was unable to do, forge a new country in Iraq.
And Congress know about it and does nothing, especially Democraps. To them, remaining in power if more important than anything on this planet, even if it meant the demise of this country which to me is proof they are insane and should be removed from office. It’s the same thing as that movie “The Caine Mutiny”..Humphrey Bogart is Section 8 and the crew is given the choice of either the ship sinking or removing him from command, so they remove him. Same thing should happen here.
Next, we’ll probably see the French ride to the rescue, while our pacifist president parties like he’s in pre-WWII Berlin.

Can Congress send aid? No, not alone. The House could authorize aid money, but the Senate has to join in by discussing the bill and then voting to pass it. The passed bill goes to the president who must sign it to make it law. Then, as executive, the president has to put the law into effect by directing an agency or military to act on the matter.
The blockage on aid lies with Harry Reid’s do nothing Senate and Obama who won’t sign & direct [as with other matters such as border enforcement & elements of ObamaCare],
The payback for F 18’s bombing ISIL was for the Kurds to rescue the Yazidi’s
