We have the ‘President from hell’ ... and history has come and sat on our doorstep.

But within the White House, these precious few breaks from Washington are highly valued, both by the president and his staff.Read this far.

So on his 2 week “vacation from hell” (is it a vacation a month for this guy? Is he going for the “most rounds of golf as president” award?) he had read from teleprompter for a few minutes? My heart bleeds etc.

I think Obama should stay where he is and continue doing whatever it is he is doing and in the meantime, a panel or board of director’s can be appointed by a bi-partisan commission of “We The People” for the remainder of Obama’s term until we can schedule an emergency election. :D

The presidents plan to snag two weeks off in Marthas Vineyard has been an utter failure, marking his worst attempt at relaxation since the Detroit underwear bomber consumed his 2009 Christmas holiday in Hawaii.

Over at Ace of Spades, they’ve put forth the idea that you have to read these news story like it’s a movie screenplay or a book, with Obama as the designated hero of the story.
In that respect, everything is looked at from his point of view. Nothing is ever about whether it’s the right thing to do, good public policy, or even sound political tactics. Instead, every story, every analysis, centers on what it means for our protagonist, Obama.
I’ve got to say, it’s remarkably spot-on as a way of viewing how these articles are framed. The world is falling to pieces and Obama’s foreign policy is a smoking ruin. Do we look at those policies to learn lessons about what worked and what didn’t? Do we offer any new strategies to help fix the issues and prevent them from happening again? Of course not... instead, we write about how this effects “our hero” and his vacation.

Contradicting the spin that this is a ‘working vacation’,

2 week? TWO? So now we are up to two?? From taking a one week vacation every month to two. So basically he will “work” half the month and take off half the month.

After an unusually quiet Christmas vacation in Hawaii last year, aides marveled at how clear-headed and energized Obama seemed upon his return.Funny. I don't remember Obama ever being what I would describe as "clear-headed."
I hope every minute of his wretched life is filled with Hellish torment.
