Ukraine forces destroy most of a column of Russian military vehicles, president says

KIEV, Ukraine — Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said Friday that Ukrainian forces had attacked and destroyed part of a column of Russian military vehicles on Ukrainian territory, a step that, if confirmed, would represent a significant escalation of hostilities between Ukraine and Russia.

Poroshenko told British Prime Minister David Cameron that “the majority” of a column of Russian military vehicles “had been destroyed by the Ukrainian artillery at night,” his office said in a statement. The announcement came as NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said Friday that the defense alliance had seen an “incursion” into Ukraine the previous night.

Unrest is growing, in both the east (Kharkov), in Kiev, and in the West (Hungarians).

Ukrainian currency is collapsing, gas and food prices have doubled in the last 6 months, and it’s only going to get worse going into winter.

I agree about the recipe, and it’s a good one. But this isn’t the first time that Ukraine and Russia have had a dispute over gas. They don’t call him Gasputin for nothing.

Putey has misjudged the level of hatred the Ukranians have for Mother Russia. They are not going to go gently into the new empire. My brother in law has an adopted teen from Urkraine and he has talked about how much they hate the Russians.

Yes, an entire generation as been born in Ukraine since it gained its independence from Russia. This new generation has no alliance to Russia. And most of the older generations don't either.

There are also unconfirmed reports that the military vehicles Kiev destroyed were actually Ukrainian...not that it matters much to the Kerry/Soros pep squad.
