I remember back when I was still working in the prison system, they were offering Anger Management classes for the convicts. One night we got called to respond to the classroom because a fight had broken out. Never a dull moment. The job was great. Where else could you get a job that paid you good money to be entertained every day?

I read the other day, that smoking blunts is not the same as smoking a joint. Cigar smokers don’t inhale the smoke. But blunt smokers deeply inhale the combination of pot and the cigar tobacco’s heavy nicotine, creating quite a different high.

Yes to all your questions. A test for pot can be done by blood or a whiz quiz (faster) but the full tox screen takes longer. Not much longer I hope.

I've never heard of someone stoned on marijuana being able to keep bum rushing a cop who's already shot him several times.

They weren’t cm hits. He was only a few yards away from the officer when he started the rush so the whole thing took 4-5 seconds if that.

I am dubious that pot was the chief thing on which Mike was high, if he was high. Potheads DO tend to be mellow, if stupified. Brown was about as unmellow as they get.

Yep - it's been decades since I smoked any reefer and it was generally a very mellow, smiley-eyes experience. Ran into some laced with other substances and it had whole other effect, but I'm not prone to wanton violence so even that didn't push me over any edges. Today's stuff is supposed to be multiples of times more potent and with all the "designer" drugs and mixture being used, it's a crap shoot if you run into a user who is bent on doing harm.

I recall a Simpsons episode where the Chief wanted DNA results, the lab tech told him 2 to 3 weeks. The Chief sighs and hands over a carton of cigarettes, causing the tech to remark: “Did I say weeks, I meant seconds”—pushes button—machine goes ‘ding’ and spits out results. Makes ya wonder sometimes how stuff works, but if they really want it pronto, bet it can be done as fast as blood work in hospital...
