We have known for days about this attack on the cop but it seems some would rather ignore all the facts and try to convict the cop because they hate cops.
Seems the more comes out the better it is for this cop.
I remember one freeper stating how the cop is not allowed to shoot and even went as far as citing a court case, TN v Garner but would not listen to me about case law after or objective reasonableness or totality of circumstances.
Now more info comes out the cop was right to shoot, he was attacked the thug was not running away and he was seen robbing and assaulting a store owner.
Remember when a handful on here was always saying how the cop is wrong to shoot , they think they’re military, and the thug was targeted ?

If (since) Brown attacked the officer in the car, the officer had every right to pull his gun and command Brown to stop so that he could be arrested.
If (apparently since) Brown then charged the officer, the officer had every right to defend himself from further harm or death at the bare hands of Brown.
I think people have a tendency to have knee-jerk reactions and to stereotype other people when it suits their emotion on a subject.
I try to take things case by case. I agree that the police (in all realms) have become highly defensive and reactive.
It’s a really crappy world and society that they have to deal with. Remember when cops didn’t have to worry about getting shot every time they pulled someone over ?
Anyway, in this case, I followed the incident very closely and knew from the beginning what had happened. Sure I had some details wrong (due to misleading statements by the official press), but I think we all ended up arriving at the same conclusion (especially after everyone gets to read the subject of this thread).
Now, when will the public see this ? Or will it even get out ?
Yeah, a cop is not a security guard.
A security guard is suppose to only observe and report and then call the cops. That is why they don't carry guns.
The cops are supposed to be the last line of defense, unless you have your own means of defense.

They've even taken to using private replies to make their point, instead of posting openly on threads. They know they'll get rightfully flamed if they do.
I just did a user check on one of the biggest Brown defenders and it has been exactly 2 days since last post.
