I am a Chicagoan, living in the QC for the last 5 years. I cannot believe how awful the Braley ads are. There is absolutely no substance. He is appealing to the Johnson County (Iowa City) base that is 90% registered Democrat. (The rest are Wiccans, Greens, and the usual collection of oddballs). My hunch is that he will lose because he is turning off moderates and motivating conservatives.
