A video posted by ISIL terrorists in Iraq purports to the show the beheading of an American photojournalist who has been missing since 2012. The group claims the beheading is a message to President Obama to end the American intervention in Iraq.
James Foley is a photojournalist who has worked for several news organizations. According to a website set up in his honor, he went missing while covering the conflict in Syria in 2012.
In the video, they show journalist Steven Joel Soltoff, a journalist who worked for TIME, The National Interest and Media Line. Soltoff seems to have been missing since the middle of last year. He last tweeted on August 3rd, 2013. His Twitter indicates he was in Libya at that time. ISIL claims the Sotloffs life depends on Obamas next decision," specifically if the United States continues attacking their them.
This is the first media story I’ve seen on it.
Then you ain’t been looking at Breaking News.
If Øbama had more than a pair of golf balls we’d be dropping daisy cutters.
Lefty loons will still try to equate Christians with these beasts.
I hope when they start catching ISIS fighters they start collecting their heads to . Taking them off with chainsaws .
Will journalists take a clear stance against the ISIL terrorists either in retaliation or because they finally understand pure evil, or will they back off in the hope that being nice to the barbaric murderers will appease ISIL and protect journalists for now?
Hey Obamaretard—why don’t you go play another round of golf while American citizens are brutally beheaded by Islamo subhumans? This happened because of Obama’s bumbling. He is in way over his head. And my heart goes out to the family of James Foley and that of Steven Soltoff, still captive in their filthy hands.
This did not happen because of 0bama’s bumbling.
He is not in way over his head.
This is exactly what he wants to happen.
Then damn him to the lowest hell. For this, for allowing our country to be invaded by illegals, and for the whole litany of traitorous acts to our country. And for all the deluded fools who voted for him, for whatever reason--the same.
It is being reported on some sites (I use a Brit news search engine).
However, I find this report a little less appalling as the act itself... “US “deeply disturbed” over Afghanistan’s handling of US journalist”
Listen to this song:
>Taking them off with chainsaws .
Too quick. There are much better and prolonged ways to get the message through the thick heads of ISIS members.
ISIS or ISIL, I'm confused.........Still can't find the reported video as advertised in this thread and the link provided above yours........
Ain't sayin it didn't happen but I sure ain't seen the evidence that it did..........
Can ya help a brutha out?
Wow. ISIS is a whole lot meaner to journalists than the Ferguson cops are.
Will the rioters head to Iraq now?
Even if true, and widely publicized, I don’t think it’s going to do much to dissuade journalists in their core beliefs. It’s been a long time since objectivity has been important to them - seeming to be objective, maybe, but not actual objectivity.
I wonder to whom she is referring in her song. It sure sounds like she’s totally ticked off for someone doing something horrible to someone she loves.
Kill an American, and we kill 10,000 IS.
Deeply disturbed means Obama will skip dessert tonight.
And here is the result of that action:
If you have the stomach for it, watch them murder him at Murder of James Foley by ISIS
I don’t think she’s referring to an individual; she’s referring to a group of people.
A group of people who froze millions of stories into the mud.
I would think it’s fairly obvious.
Apparently Youtube doesn’t want to sully the image of the headhackers.
This is why Obama came back to work
Not if it’s ice cream.
"Page Not Found"
watch them murder him at Murder of James Foley by ISIS
So what's next?
Oh my God-——may he rest in peace.
On ABC evening news, I was surprised to hear them use words like “barbarians” and “savages”. To think these are the same people that were being hailed as brave freedom fighters struggling to overcome the brutal dictator Assad.
Ole Jerry Rivers had better go and investigate this.
Porns OK for YouTube, but seeing strict Muslims kill a kafir, we’ll...
You’re right. He’s a narcissist and a cretin.
Here is the actual video. These Muzzy scum think they can get away with this....
Journalists are supposed to be in the business of collecting facts. It's a nice surprise to see that some are actually capable of recognizing a fact given evidence in a sufficiently shocking form.
thats awful :(
The religion of peace strikes again.
“Lefty loons will still try to equate Christians with these beasts.”
And righty loons will still try to equate our support of secular Syrian opposition groups with support of ISIS. In their mind ‘the US did this’ -and all of the other atrocities of late.
Imagine that, a circle of reasoning where left and right meet at ignorance and lunacy.
Yep. I’m for a fair warning and turning that region to glass.
I’ll give them a good deal on an old Homelite with a 24 inch bar and chain. It will walk through hard Oak like butter.
Video has been removed. I hope he is at rest. God bless him.
Greenfield: What is Wrong with ISIS, is What is Wrong with Islam
Sultan Knish blog ^ | Tuesday, August 19, 2014 | Daniel Greenfield
The religious and ethnic strife in the Middle East out of which ISIS emerged and which has become its brand, goes back over a thousand years. If support for terrorism emerges from radicalization, then the armies of Islam were radicalized in the time of Mohammed and have never been de-radicalized.
Terrorism is not reactive. As ISIS has shown us, it has a vision for the future. The Caliphate, like the Reich, is a utopia which can only be created through the mass murder and repression of all those who do not belong. This isnt a new vision. Its the founding vision of Islam.
What is wrong with ISIS is what is wrong with Islam.
We can defeat ISIS, but we should remember that its roots are in the hearts of the Sunni Muslims who have supported it. ISIS and Al Qaeda are only symptoms of the larger problem.
