Gov. Rick Perry has been booked on two felony counts of abuse of power for carrying out a threat to veto funding to state public corruption prosecutors.
Perry, who is mulling a second presidential run in 2016, turned himself in Tuesday at the Travis County courthouse. He vowed he'd fight the charges "with every fiber of my being."
The Republican is accused of coercion and official oppression for publicly promising to veto $7.5 million for the state public integrity unit run by the Travis County district attorney's office.

That’s exactly the story the Democrats wanted and planned for.
The Nazi DemocRATS are all having orgasms tonight!!! They all should be in prison. Hopefully, Perry will make some of these SOBs pay for taking part in this bogus, political fiasco. Nail the so called “judge” too. It’s time for a little Karma.
This is how they booted Tom Delay so the Rats will keep using this method until it blows up in their faces which should be very soon ... hopefully.
All I want this to do is keep him far far away from the White House. I hope this keeps him tangled in legal problems until Mid-November 2016 and then released without cause.

Tom Delay was a conservative. Rick Perry is a nasty liberal. Disgusted that they are even compared.

Did they mention that Perry was greeted by throngs of cheering supporters? And he was cheered both going into the station and out of it? This resulted in a big outpouring of support for Perry, and the “mug shot” looks like a campaign headshot. I don’t know how much mileage the Dems think they are going to get out of this, but even the NYT and WaPo are running away from this Dem disaster.
You realize that if the Liberals succeed in this, they will come after every real conservative politician.

Ok....I will try. But I really don’t like him. But for your reasoning, I will. I will abstain from these threads until they are done. I absolutely do not want anything to happen to him. I just don’t want him President....why not run for Senate? See you on another thread. I promise you....I will stay away from Perry threads on this subject, but not on Presidential threads.

Agreed,,fire at Progressives and specifically at the grand jury and Rosemary the drunk. Let’s perfect it on a local level,,then take it national.
