I work at a major world famous hospital on the east coast where a famous pediatric neurosurgeon-turned-possible-presidential-candidate used to work. Every day they have information in our daily email newsletter about Ebola. How it's spread, what to do if a patient presents with symptoms, etc. Just in case, you know. Today they had a quiz about Ebola. I'm not kidding. I got 100%.

This is the kind of thing they do every year just before flu season, just to raise awareness. They're DEFINITELY trying to raise awareness of Ebola.

It’s popping up here and there, and that’s just what they’re admitting. Let’s hope it can be contained.

Yeah its one of those unnerving things that sits in the back of your mind when you live not far from major hospital. I’ve got the University of Michigan hospital complex about 30 miles away.

There was a case in Brampton, Ontario, but not confirmed as Ebola. Then I read about someone tonight in Britain being watched. Now Sacramento. I realize that they’re not “confirmed” cases, but I fear that it will show up sooner or later when I read about the lax treatment in Africa. It would be wise to have travel restrictions, just for safe measure.

I’m wondering if it’s being brought across by the illegals? I remember reading that the border patrol agents were very concerned that many of the illegals were unhealthy and being released among the population without proper screening or medical attention.

I tinks many are parroting words and are un necessarily panicking. Yes, it is center stage in the medias now.

I have a friend who was back in the bush near Gekadoo and he witnessed again, people, several sharing a bowl with their hands and no cutlery. All enjoying the double dipped seasoned flavor of ebolaise sauce. This is regular fare back in the bush.

You would think with behavior like that there would be plenty , plenty more , deaths. That is right in the heartland of bushmeat and bat barbeques. The epicenter.

My wife works in a hospital as well. They are getting bulletins from the state health department.

Nothing “scary”, just transmission, and symptoms to look for.

I don’t know if these things go out regularly but it’s starting to sound creepy.

I think we should bring in more infected people.

Lets hope the Feds do the same with Ebola as they did with thousands of cootie carrying illegals and seed the entire country with them...To all points..

It’s a great winning strategy...Go team..
