Thursday’s “National Day Of Rage” planned by the hacktivist group Anonymous against the Aug. 9 police shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo. failed to materialize in any remotely significant way.
Anonymous had called for a protest in 37 cities. A Facebook posting dated Thursday shows that organizers had also envisioned nationwide protests in the early evening in dozens of additional cities — everywhere from Helena, Mont. (pop. 29,134) to Perryville, Mo. (pop. 8,225)
The protests were a huge dud.

When you here the media speak of Communists from Oakland, they are talking about Black Bloc Anarchists, who are known for use of violence to protest capitalism. The Black Block is closely associated with the ILWU, who recently shut down the port of Oakland to prevent a ship with Israeli owners from unloading. They accused Israel of apartheid and demanded that Israel open its borders to Gaza.
Oh, the Black Bloc was also spotted in Egypt, fighting along side the Muslim Brotherhood.

Hey! I’m “enraged”, but for a different reason.
The Des Moines Register said there were about 20 at the day of rage protest there.
That means there were fewer than a dozen.
Once again, this was not 4chan Anonymous, who disavowed it, but someone, likely in the administration, who was impersonating them. Anonymous is clear that it does not do such things, and did not this time. But governments and intelligence organizations seek to use it as cover for their activities.
