Obama screwed the pooch again. He simply can't lead. He's incompetent. He can't make a simple decision timely.
I think you’ve made the correct analysis. Obama would not deliberately screw up the mission — there’s too much positive reporting to be had (as with OBL) by appearing to single handedly orchestrate a successful mission. But the problem is, he dithered due to fear the mission might fail (bad karma). Since the terrorists are “smart” in the sense of being cunning (like an old bass that has learned to avoid a hook), they moved their prisoners, and Obama acted too late.
Indeed, this is what WE should trumpet to everyone we know: Foley is dead due to Obama’s cowardice and incompetence.
Horrifying, yes. Surprising, no.
Between the sheeple and the crazazies, it's small wonder that this sort of stuff can go on with alarming regularity and no one from the lowest yeoman to the bluest of bloods even bats an eye.
Take it up with “Council”. Certainly this wouldn’t happen in a future free Scotland. An armed populace is a polite populace. And yes, despite the well painted stereotype of the US created by wussie libs in the UK who are PARTY to islamofascism, an armed citizen could have shut that situation down in a hurry, and the serving bandsman would not have been killed. Bring it. We don’t wait for the SAS in Texas.

But the fact is, a serving British soldier-drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, was attacked and killed by two Nigerian immigrant converts to islam (how does that happen, the conversion?) walking along on the very ironic— Wellington Street in freakin’ Woolwich, having been run down with a car first. This tactic of the car certainly hid the crime from the sheeplike witnesses. Point is that an armed trained citizen (of which there are many in the US btw) could have shut this down in mid action, and saved the soldier’s life. Using the women was part of the “ginning up” of fear for the media, to further wussify the British govt. response. The a**holes got life imprisonment— when what they should have gotten is at minimum several rounds through the head— on site.
