It is difficult to verify the situation in Libya, given that the country is too dangerous to enter. However, I believe this story from the Beirut paper, Daily Star, is generally accurate. Another triumph for Obama's foreign policy - Libya in chaos.

The craziest kind of islamic radicals are threatening to overrun three formerly stable middle east capitals... heads are rolling in every direction.

Will anyone in the MSM even suggest that this possibly could be a result of 'mishandling' opt foreign policy by our president and his state dept?

Soon the powerful but destitute ruler of Egypt will respond to the pleas of the oil rich Libyans to save them from the Islamists. Kind of works out well.

You know how Obama keeps referring to ISIS as ISIL? Maybe he’s thinking “Islamic State in Libya”, which would be consistent with his weapons games in Benghazi that wound up with four dead.

We were better off with Col. Daffy

Col. Daffy wasn’t a threat to us. He opened up his weapons arsenal for inspections. Obama wanted his muzzie brotherhood thugs to take control of Libya. They did and they do about as good a job running government has Hussein Obama does.

Hussein Obama backed the muzzie brotherhood in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, (he wanted to in Syria before Putin made Obama look like an incompetent clown), and it’s only a matter of time before he does elsewhere. The “moderate” brotherhood are thugs.

Yes, we would be a lot better off with Col. Daffy still there. So would the people of Libya.

The MB is in the white house so I suppose we have the outcome from all the carnage really shouldn’t be a surprise.

zero et. al should be tried for treason. I’d think that most of western civilized nations would breathe a sigh of relief if we finally did what needs doing.

Gaddafi was absolutely no threat to us or the region. The citizens of Libya were living in a fairly prosperous nation.

There was absolutely no reason to overthrow the Libyan government. And it wouldn’t have happened without obama.

I firmly believe that the muslim brotherhood has the ear of the obama White House more than do Christian organizations.

I don’t know if we can take two more years of the treasonous bastard. We really need to take the senate out of this evil jerk’s hands.

It was an understandable but terrible thing to listen to the hurrahs when Daffy was sodomized and murdered. His entire WMD program was boxed up and shipped to Oak Ridge, and he was a nominal if embarassing ally against the Black Flag.

The Arab Spring, indeed.

Imagine what our thinking might be had the Egyptian military not overthrown Morsi and imprisoned the fascist Muslim Brotherhood when they did. Imagine what the Israeli situation would be this night.

Daffy was engaged in annihilating the Black Flag, holed up in Benghazi the night we were "led from behind" into stopping him from that welcome wet work, by the European Union under the guise of NATO. Why in the world would this administration decide to stop him, handing the country over to these criminal gangs, funded by Qatar through the Muslim Brotherhood?

Why was this administration so anxious to aid the Black Flag against Assad?

Do you think Assad, after losing another air base to the "Caliphate" yesterday, might be willing to make peace with Israel, after the fashion of the Egyptians, in return for our aid? Is it likely this administration will stop the Black Flag from overrunning Damascus, and if not, why not?

Does Doha and the al-Tahanis of Qatar control our foreign policy?

Let's hire a president willing to clean out Foggy Bottom.

This is true, and although you or I would not want to live under a military govt like that in Libya, for the people there, it was very much the best option.

Also, Gaddafi had agreed in 2004 to voluntarily disarm Libya of all WMDs, and allowed UN inspections of military sites. What a massive mistake that was, from his point of view. It allowed the NATO attacks to proceed without risk.

Yep. And Obama armed ISIS with much of the weapons we had in Benghazi, plus that secret shipment that they do not talk about. It does not take a rocket scientist to see Obama sided with Morsi and the Muslim Bros in Egypt, then opened up Libya for this bunch, and; Obama can take credit and the blame for ISIS NOW.

Libya was probably a single middle-class country in Africa since the demise of South Africa.
Considering democrat attitude towards domestic middle class do you believe they would tolerate it elsewhere?
Of course, business is coming along pleasure. Practical goals behind dismantling Libya was to show jihadis that secular dictators aren’t as scary as they used to think so they can topple them and bring chaos into their respective neighborhoods too. Another goal was to have Qduffy’s arsenal opened to upgun global jihad with advanced weaponry and keep hands clean at the time (unfortunately clean hands part has failed with Ben Ghazy ‘mishap’ and Hillary was purged for this)
