Phony facade?

Anyway, the unemployment stats fail to represent the significant drop in workforce participation.

It’s a real shame the actual Misery Index 2.0 chart is not shown: it appears the article itself is a come on for paying money for a book and or “newsletter”.

Given that we can’t poll all of the people who according to the Govt “voluntarily” dropped out of the workforce, it seems we’ll never get and “honest” unemployment rate again.

Like Global Warming, it is frightening to think that honest (we hope) and well-meaning policy makers are making economic decisions base on totally bogus data.
