Via the Lars Larson Radio Show, yesterday:

The federal government spent $1 million to create a database to track hate speech and “misinformation” on Twitter. The National Science Foundation is behind the creation of the online government monitoring project. The database will reportedly include searches for “suspicious memes,” “false and misleading ideas” and will place particular focus on online political activity.

The Truthy database project is billed as a non-partisan effort, but the “lead investigator” on the project is reportedly involved with a multitude of progressive or liberal groups, Filippo Menczer has reportedly uttered support for Moveon.org, Amnesty International, and President Barack Obama’s Organizing for Action, among other groups.

Perhaps one of the most disturbing aspects of the Twitter monitoring project is the “reporting” of suspicious posts tool:

Did they give it a noce name like the “Ministry of Truth” ?

These people need to re-read ‘Animal Farm’ - or at least the parts that apply to them.

“The birds did not understand Snowball’s long words, but they accepted his explanation, and all the humbler animals set to work to learn the new maxim by heart. FOUR LEGS GOOD, TWO LEGS BAD, was inscribed on the end wall of the barn, above the Seven Commandments and in bigger letters

Big words bad, small words good: it’s easier to understand rules when they’re simple”

“YES WE CAN” “HOPE AND CHANGE”

The regime decided that if they couldn’t get the population to suppress dissent, they’d have the NSA do it.

Like the fed itself is not involved in this.

When a government does not accept constraints but starts giving them, it is game over for that government. It is now self corrupting and brainwashing.

This not so much aimed at us but at themselves feeling good about their crimes. Be afraid.

They will aggressively go after people who call others “Rednecks”, “Honkies”, “Whitey”, “White Trash”, “Right Wing Crazies”, “Tea Baggers”, etc.

Indeed. Misinformation was a word invented by the KGB long ago but only recently discovered out West. Yet these goons are not going after foreign intel terrorist groups but us.

“Obviously this will mean conservative hate speech... “

That’s the only kind of “hate speech” there is!

Coming soon to a Banana Republic near you, a comprehensive list of which passages from the Old and New Testament are hate speech. Redacted Bibles to be distributed shortly thereafter.

Although we all know better, the deceitful description of their purpose would make some think that the government is going to track their own speech. The Federal government is by far the biggest source of misinformation there is.
