I went through the recently-released annual report of Frontex, the EU border agency. They appendix a mass of interesting statistics, but notably, nothing about religion. That would not be PC. Extrapolating from origin data, however, the admitted refugee claimants were predominately Muslim. "Visa-free immigrants" who were either turned back at the border or subsequently "voluntarily returned" were from predominately Christian or Hindu countries such as Russia, the Ukraine and India. "Forcible returns" were predominately from Muslim countries.
Some people are just better, more persistent liars.

As long as there are liberals, there will be situations like this. I'll bet already there are Italian liberals who would have their gov. fly special missions to bring the poor, deserving immigrants their own specially cooked food. The proper solution is for the Italian authorities to take the undeserving b.....ds to the nearest dock at gunpoint and tell them to start swimming.

How much more of this crap will the west be forced to tolerate until they stop the insanity. The "west", especially western Europe, has been accepting immigrants of all forms for decades. Italy has a liberal immigration policy. Southern Italy is continually awash with North Africans moving north. The "west" is in the process of committing cultural and political suicide.
