WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama faced criticism over his foreign policy from both Democratic and Republican lawmakers on Sunday as he wrestled with crises in Iraq, Syria, Libya and Ukraine.

Republican lawmakers seized on Obama's comment on Thursday when he said, "We don't have a strategy yet" for confronting the Islamic State militant group, saying it suggested indecisiveness.

On Sunday, influential Democrats chimed in with their own critiques of Obama's foreign policy, chiding him for being "too cautious" on Syria, and urging him to do more to help Ukraine resist Russian advances.

Not being a fashion critic but having seen many appropriately dressed powerful men at various important events, I would say this is yet another Barry Obama FU.

Mitt Romney suggested he would have been able to prevent the rise of the jihadist group Islamic State (also known as ISIS or ISIL) if he were elected rather than President Barack Obama in 2012 during a radio interview that aired Sunday. According to Romney, Obama’s “mistakes” enabled Islamic State to gain power in both Syria and Iraq.

“Mistakes were made and now we have ISIS,” Romney said in a pre-taped interview on billionaire John Catsimatidis’ show on New York City’s AM 970.

Romney argued Islamic State would not have gained ground if America had adopted his 2012 plan for dealing with the revolution against Syrian President Bashar Assad.

My thoughts exactly.

It must be my tv...the suit looked like that ugly mustard yellow. The gray is slightly better. But still out of the norm for what is typically worn by people in his position.

Click Here for a video that everyone needs to see.

A very worth while video to watch. Please take the time to do so. This was not funded by any political faction. It was simply done privately. It deserves to go viral!

No one with a functioning medulla oblongata believes Dear Reader has any economic, foreign, or domestic policy that is worth while. No one.

Which explains why the media supports it.

Obama faces bipartisan criticism over his foreign policy

Hmmm, is no policy on the subject a 'foreign policy'?

I can see them criticizing him for his policy of not having a foreign policy.

You can't criticize him for something that doesn't exist.

I am 100% behind the “Obama foreign policy”.

I thinking getting one is a fine idea! It sure seems to work for other world leaders.. I mean look at Putin.

Does not having a foreign policy mean you even HAVE a foreign policy? Maybe he should have the state department send toy “overcharge” buttons(or whatever it said) to all of our enemies....

Then again, he doesn’t have a domestic policy either.

This has to be the ultimate embarrassment, and to think this little bitch of a “BOY” was elected, TWICE!!!

(hehe I may get my very own satellite for this one!)

Published September 01, 2014
Associated Press

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida is launching a center for global Islamic studies.

The Gainesville Sun reports that the center has already been approved by university officials and will be announced when UF’s Board of Trustees meet this week.

Officials in the school’s Center for African Studies and the Department of Religion have been working to open the center for a year. They have brought together a cross-section of faculty from religion, science, history, anthropology, languages, literatures and cultures.

The center is set to launch Sept. 18-19 with a conference on “Global Islam and the Quest for Public Space.”
